Small attic room
The setting is perfect especially when the weather is good
We have been before but this time we were quite disappointed with the menu it has changed since we last came and am afraid we only ate there one night apart from the price has risen a lot there wasn't much to our taste which was a shame

Great wee country pub vibe. Very nice room and fantastic breakfast. Great pub downstairs but nice and quiet up in the room with a nice view over the river.
Lovely setting and position, friendly staff and good food
Our room was a bit noisy as we overlooked the roof with air con/boilers etc. so it made
the room hot as couldn’t keep windows open, plus had to dodge the beam to get to windows
the breakfast is excellent with a good choice, both hot & cold. The evening meals are also very, very good, and the restaurant overlooking the river makes for a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The rooms are clean, comfortable, spacious and bright with lovely river views and the hotel is conveniently situated for access to the town centre. It is peaceful and quiet in the evenings and overnight. The staff are always helpful, professional and polite.
