Grundsätzlich ein super Hotel, aber die Klimaanlage hat in meinem Zimmer nicht funktioniert.
Pros:

Die Größe und Sauberkeit des Zimmers waren sehr gut. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr reichhaltig. Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt, mitten in der City.

Cons:

Ich war im Sommer in London auf einer Dienstreise und habe das Hotel gewählt wegen der guten Lage. Die Aircondition hat leider nicht richtig funktioniert. Abends war kein Techniker verfügbar der die Klimaanläge hätte reparieren können. Daher war es im Zimmer viel zu heiß (26 Grad Celsius).

Very good location, convenient, great night sleep, would stay again
Pros:

Brilliant location, lovely rooms with aircon, lovely interiors

Cons:

The only ever so slightly negative was that the two staff in the restaurant/dining area were not very attentive. We waited a long time to be seated, and was then told to take the table in the corner and go ahead and sit down (rather than be shown the table and escorted over - it just felt slightly odd) we then waited along time for sometime to come over and take our order. There were a lot of table with dishes etc on not cleared away so it was quite likely understaffed. We decided to eat elsewhere in the end.

Great stay
Pros:

I liked the location of the hotel, the room was big and nice. We were in the middle of the heat wave in May, so the AC was a saviour and it worked fine. The gym is of top quality, even the pool is good. We had taken the room with executive club access, it had good selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages available included in the room rates.

Cons:

I felt the breakfast was repetitive and there were limited options for vegans/ vegetarians (who do not eat eggs).

Tolle Lage, gute sichere Umgebung, kleine Verbesserungen wünschenswert
Pros:

Die Lage ist super. Ich wollte nahe St. Paul‘s Cathedral sein, weil ich während meines kurzen Aufenthalts (rund um meinen Geburtstag) mehrmals den Gottesdienst und auch den Evensong besuchen wollte. Leonardo‘s war super sauber, und im Zimmer kann man sich sowohl Kaffee als auch Tee zubereiten. Auch zwei Fläschchen Wasser gab es gratis. Die Zimmer haben eine super funktionierende Klimaanlage, die man aber auch problemlos anstellen kann. Auch das TV war super & die wichtigsten Sender sofort aufrufbar. Auch in der Lobby und im sehr schönen Bar-Restaurant-Bereich war es angenehm temperiert und der Service prima.

Cons:

Wirklich nur zwei Dinge, aber nicht ganz unbedeutend: Ich hatte ein Kingsize Bett, eigentlich toll. Aber: Leider war die Matratze so schlapp - durchgelegen ?? - dass mich schon nach der ersten Nacht Rückenschmerzen plagten. Und dies obwohl ich seit einem 3/4 Jahr 2mal wöchentlich im Fitnessstudio ernsthaftes Krafttraining mache - und seit langem mit „Rücken“ echt keine Probleme mehr habe! Das Zweite: Es gab im Bad nur eine Badewanne zum Duschen. Und in dieser Badewanne befand sich leider keine Ernst zu nehmende Anti-Rutsch-Beschichtung oder - Matte. Ich habe dann an der Rezeption um eine Safety-Matte gebeten, ausdrücklich für die Badewanne. Man schaute mich etwas seltsam an, und versprach die Matte würde mi umgehend aufs Zimmer geliefert. Es geschah aber nichts. Ich habe daher zum Duschen das kleinste vorhandene Handtuch auf den Wannenboden gelegt. Eine Notlösung die glücklicherweise funktioniert 😀

Comfortable bed. Perfect location with. Rooftop bar that’s gorgeous.
Pros:

Large king room. Aircon. Clean. Lovely rooftop bar and grounds floor bar. Very comfy bed. Location overlooking St Paul’s and by the river perfect.

Cons:

Lift not working in middle. Slow lift. Breakfast was very expensive . Decor slightly dated in rooms.
