Frankton Track Closure Advisory
Please be advised that Queenstown Lakes District Council has confirmed the closure of the Frankton Track from Monday 19 January until further notice between Frankton and Queenstown. During this period, guests will not have access to the track and alternative routes and transport options will be required.

The view from our room was lovely. The room itself was a reasonable size with good amenities. The hotel location five minutes drive from the city centre was compensated by the provision of the courtesy bus which ran every hour starting at 8am.
Whilst the dining room/restaurant was lovely, it was not open all the time. A cafe area (even though the bar beside the reception served coffee etc.) would be helpful.
Also being on level 2 and having to take a lift from the main entrance/exit on level 7 to level 3 and then walk across the carpark to take another lift to level 2 was at times annoying.
Beautiful rooms , great location and great staff
Everything was amazing
The room was lovely. The beds and pillows were VERY comfortable which was a welcome relief after a day of skiing. The heated floors helped to get ski gloves dry before the next day. The ski locker and facilities all worked really well to store our ski gear overnight. Staff were amazing and all very helpful. It was definitely a luxury experience.
The shuttle bus only ran once every hour, on the hour, although it was only a 10 minute trip into town. Whilst I planned on using the shuttle to get into the heart of town, we didn't use it at all because we didn't have the time to wait until the one bus per hour, so we caught an Uber which was relatively inexpensive and very quick. If I knew this before booking the accommodation I probably would have booked closer to town. Breakfast didn't start until 7am, so we didn't have the opportunity to try it before needing to get on the Cardrona bus at 7:50am each morning - a hearty breakfast would have been very welcome.
Room was wonderful with stunning views and very relaxing. Will stay there again

It was very warm and well insulated.
Found so much hair in my room and bathroom(even on fresh towels). when i told staff they didnt seem overly surprised or apologetic. they cleaned my room again but left a rag and it was just overall at a below average cleanliness level and i did find other hairs afterwards too. We were given an accessible room and the water just went everywhere, so we had to use every towel after a shower to keep the floor relatively dry. it was just very poorly designed bathroom. Breakfast was horrible. Overpriced and the fruit had been sitting from the previous day/days? Mislabelled items and stale bread. Some staff were nice and some were rude. Definitely not worth the price point and to be so far out of town.
