Cons:

Price of the breakfast and lunch buffet was a little to price for my liking but I just walked to the other breakfast shops in the area

I would stay again
Pros:

The star Grand at the Gold Coast was amazing. Our room was beautiful and spacious. The king bed was reasonably comfortable as well. As I’m a very fussy sleeper I found it quite comfortable.

Cons:

House keeping not quite so good. I had the same glass of water on my side table the whole stay. They would change the towels and make the bed but that was it. Also you can’t help but get water all over the floor when showering due to an open shower.

Had a very enjoyable stay and will definitely be back
Pros:

The location was great. Easy walk to tram ( .50c fares anywhere) or Pacific Fair shopping centre. Our room was lovely with a view over the canals. The room was clean, quiet and had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable. We had quite a wait to check in but there were four staff serving. It was just a busy time. Checking in online does not really make a difference. All the staff we dealt with were very helpful and friendly

Cons:

Not much signage in the level 2 yellow car park showing entrance to casino if you have not been there before

Overall, a great stay.
Pros:

Room was good. However, shower floors and walls could do with a good scrub.

Cons:

Buffet breakfast could offer a better variety of options. Egg station - too slow especially when the hotel is at capacity. Could do with another station on either side.

Pros:

Love the atmosphere the food and the fact that you did not feel like that you were at a casino

Cons:

the view was not that great from the room but having said that we were not in the room that much

Comfortable

Cons:

A group of 6 people booked and stayed at the property to play poker at the casino.
There were simply not enough tables opened by the casino to cater for the people that wanted to play. We had to wait sometimes up to 2 or 3 hours to be allocated a seat. To a large degree a spoiled our stay.
