Disappointing.
Pros:

The property had a nice comfortable feeling to it.

Cons:

Electric showers are never the best, the bed was lumpy and uncomfortable, the Tv didn’t work, so complicated to actually use, I gave up. Very over priced compared with other hotels. I think they put the prices up because of events in city.

Has everything you need for a great stay.
Pros:

This hotel is in a beautiful position in Sefton park, lovely beer garden with parking space right opposite Sefton park lake.

Cons:

The staff were very polite and friendly two young ladies on the front desk. Helpful and chatty.
Nicely cooked breakfast. Hotel bar.
Lots of interesting memorabilia of the Beatles
Just an all round great place to stay.

Dog friendly hotel
Pros:

View from the room was lovely and the beds were really comfortable. Room nicely decorated. Breakfast really nice as well as the dining room. Everywhere looked lovely although didn't use the bar. Park across road and dog friendly.

Cons:

Windows were only single glazed? Very noisy anyway. Radiators didn't seem to work. Couldn't get shower temperature right, was either boiling hot or freezing cold so couldn't stand under it. No shelf or anything in shower so no where to put soap or shampoo, which is presumably why they were left on the sink. No handles on any of the drawers in the bedroom so couldn't use the drawers. Forgot to book table for restaurant so was full, asked if we could order something for the room and told no but could order in a takeaway!!! How is that any different?!
