The facilities are clean. There are quite a lot of restaurants. The food is plentiful, a lot of options, items get restocked quickly, tables get quickly cleaned by staff.
The hotel is pretty, clean and the staff are generally friendly. The bar doesn't have many options (just one beer on tap) but it's open until midnight and away from the rooms so no problems with noise.
I'll address the elephant in the room: parking. This site doesn't say anything about "subject to availability" but it is. And there was no availability. In early March. Receptionist showed no effort to help, could not see if parking would be available later ("come again tomorrow and we'll check"), wouldn't even acknowledge fault ("our own website says subject to availability so no problem"), let alone try to compensate.
You have to drive everywhere because the hotel itself has just a few pools, a tiny children playground and is far away from the sea.
The only positive thing about this hotel is kind and friendly staff.
I don’t understand what we paid such a huge amount of money for. The room we got (a suite!!) was supposed to have a garden view, but all we could see was the street and the stadium in front of it, with a lot of noise. The view we got had nothing to do with a “garden.” When we informed staff about that, they confirmed that we got “the right” room. The mattresses on the beds were very old and in terrible condition – you could even clearly see the dents in them. We were travelling with a baby who sleeps in the same bed with the mother, so every night we had to look for a position where the baby would not roll into the hollow of the mattress. The mattress was simply sunken in. As a result, the quality of sleep was terrible.
The hair dryer looked like it had not been cleaned for at least a decade. It was so dirty and worn out that we did not feel safe using it, turning it on felt like it could start a fire or burn our hair.
The air conditioner produced an unpleasant smell, so we could not use it.
The food in the restaurant was very greasy and overly salty. We were travelling with a baby who is already eating solid food, but unfortunately we could not give the baby anything from the buffet, because almost everything was soaked in salt and fat.
As if that wasn’t enough both my husband and I got food poisoning. Since we only ate food provided by the hotel, we strongly suspect it was caused by the hotel food.
Overall, the room is in desperate need of renovation – everything feels outdated and worn out. The sound insulation of the room door is terrible, and we constantly heard noise and doors slamming in the corridor.
In general, this was a complete waste of money. It is absurd considering the price we paid, and I truly regret choosing this hotel.
We visited the hotel in Feb half term with our boys aged 7 and 10. It's a fantastic hotel which caters for families so well.
All the staff clearly work very hard across the whole hotel and were always friendly. We rarely saw the maid but the beds were made every day, towels replaced etc.
Rooms: We booked a duplex so block F (all duplexes are block F). It was a great room but as other reviewers have said it does
have steep stone stairs. There's not actually a door between the 2 bedrooms they are just separated by the stairs but this
was fine. There was a bathroom with shower downstairs and upstairs was a bathroom with bath and shower over. The
kids go in the downstairs room. The kids beds were perfectly fine - set up as 2 separate beds, one of which is a trundle
and the other is the sofa bed. Both boys said they were very comfortable. My only slight gripe was that they don't have
privacy curtains on the downstairs room so you either have to have the curtains completely shut or everyone can just see
in which isn't ideal for a bedroom. It was also a little dated with old wooden storage cupboards and in need of a refresh
generally but there was at least plenty of storage in both rooms.
Anything broken was swiftly fixed, the hotel is clearly very well run, taking pride in it's appearance and it was very clean. On one day half the main pool was shut (the bridge actually separates 2 separate pools),
presumably a child had an accident in the pool which is not the fault of the hotel. I've seen some people complaining about
pools being shut but I'd rather it was shut and cleaned! This was around half 3 and it was re-opened the following morning
Pools: We used the main pool but the quieter end slightly away from the music which was perfect. The pool was warm enough if you kept moving but my 7 year old would get cold after a while. On poolside are 3 little cubicles: 2 child toilets and a shower cubicle. This was great as my son has eczema so we could shower him off after the pool to get the chemicals off and warm up. There were always plenty of sun loungers which is a massive positive, we would never get to the pool before half 10 earliest and always got 4 together with parasols just not at the front. Obviously some people reserve them but there wasn't any need, it's just annoying.
Next to the main pool is a toddler paddling pool and next to that is the pool for the water slide. Half the pool is roped off for the slide but the other half is for anyone to use and only 1m deep plus a separate paddling bit. Children have to be over 1.10m to use it and it is only for children but was great. There's a lifeguard at the top letting them go one by one once the landing zone is clear.
We missed the pool party but on another day the animation team had a long pool mat running across the pool for the kids to run along which my 2 loved. They didn't join in many of the activities but did try the poolside archery which was fun. From what I saw of the animation team they were very good and engaged really well with all the kids. There was lots going on every day although it wasn't always clear what was when / where. Some better advertising of the various activities would be helpful, maybe a flyer given to families on arrival.
We didn't use the 'quiet pool' but walked past several times and it did look lovely too. It's where the pool snack bar is which does have a good range of food which means you don't have to go up to the restaurant at lunchtime.
The kids loved the mini disco in the theatre area (indoors) and again, a special mention for the Animation Team and Landi here, all do a great job and look happy to be there.
Food and drinks: The food was very good for an All Inclusive with pizza every dinner along with the Landi buffet for the kids. There were lots of options and alwavs some fish and meat being cooked live by the show cooks. The restaurants are incredibly well run with dishes being replenished swiftly when they are nearly empty. When the main restaurant gets too busy they open the smaller one opposite which has the same food. There are bottles of wine in chillers that you can fill your glass from.
The kids can help themselves to drinks from the soda machines around the hotel which they loved and it gives them some independence. Next to the pool bar by the main pool is a freezer with ice cream tubs in which is good. The Ola hut near the activity pool has burgers, chips, hot dogs, sandwiches and rice bowls which are available through most of the pool hours for snacks etc. The kids had food from there every day for lunch which they could go and get themselves.
Safety: The hotel felt very safe and the back gate was always closed. We didn't let the kids go too far on their own but you
did feel fine letting them go get food and drinks etc.
Walkability: You get your steps in walking around the hotel with the pools on the top level (4) with the main building and
our room was on floor 1. There's plenty of lifts around though so it's fine if you have someone in a wheelchair, but likely more
tiring for anyone with mobility issues.
The location is built on the side of a hill so the whole area is very hilly which is worth taking into consideration if you are aiming to leave the hotel a lot.
Nearby activities: There were various things advertised but we didn't do any as there was plenty to do at the hotel. If you
want to go for a walk from the hotel there's a card access gate down by the splash park and a bit of a steep walk down to the
beach area. It's a black sand beach and you have to be careful swimming in the sea as it's very choppy. Whilst the walk is
steep it's not that far and people did it with buggies ok.
Downstairs in the main building there's an arcade area including pool tables, table football and lots of arcade games which helps entertain the kids for a while so you can sit and have a drink. There's also a few souvenir shops. The free high ropes was great, my oldest really enjoyed it but beware there's a height restriction so it's only for those over 1.2m so my youngest was disappointed. You book at the activity hut opposite for the following day. The mini golf was also good fun although quite hard!
It's a perfect hotel for families with kids of all ages, there's so much to do they won't be bored. We were able to properly relax which can be tricky even on holiday with kids. Overall a fab holiday, we've already booked again for next year!
Overall a brilliant holiday. Staff very friendly. Jemmani was brilliant help. Food was great and hotel very clean
Świetny hotel. Wspaniale jedzenie, przestronne czyste pokoje, podgrzewany i ciepły basen i bardzo przyjazna atmosfera.
Jeden minus za zjeżdżalnie, na której dzieci mogą się poodbijać.
Amazing family friendly week's holiday. Sad to leave and would definitely book again. Lots for the kids to do. Staff very friendly and helpful. Can't wait to come back.
We had a wonderful first trip here. We loved the hotel, the staff, the food and pools. We upgraded our room to an ocean view suite and I’m pleased we did, as the view was beautiful. We spent most of our time at the quiet pool, there was plenty of sun beds and the food was really nice there. Only complaint would be that the pool was a little cold but once you got swimming it was ok.
My son (6) absolutely loved the kids club and went everyday and same for the kids disco.
We were so sad to leave and hope we can come back next year! Thank you for a wonderful holiday.
Our second time to this amazing hotel. Perfect for our two children 4&7. There is so much to do and the entertainment is great. Kids enjoyed the kids club, Pools, high ropes course, kids disco and mini golf. Evening entertainment excellent! Gorgeous views across the hotel especially the seating area overlooking the sea. Really pretty at night with all the lighting.
Food was nice, lots on offer and the kids landi buffet area is great for the children to self serve. Hotel is very clean and staff are pleasant. Staff are constantly cleaning in the dining area. Yes it's busy but what do people expect at a large all inclusive resort. Comfy beds and room ideal size for the four of us. We visited Feb half term and there were always plenty of sunbeds available.
I honestly can't fault this hotel and struggle to see how people do. It's really worthy of it's four stars and I will be looking to come back next year.
Very good resort. Perfect for family
Limited option/ restaurant to eat
The visit has been absolutely perfect, the rooms and food and everything was fresh! In the reception Yurami has been absolutely amazing!
Size of hotel, activities, food, drinks, staff.
A bit far from airport, landi area in restaurant has just couple of waitresses, so table cleaning is very slow!
Lots of activities for kids and adults
Sports grounds for all ages
Friendly staff
New a la carte restaurants
Organic/bio food and temathic dinners
The rooms and furniture are a bit old
I would love to have more fish and seafood variety
