A good stay
Pros:

This is the 5 or 6 stay at this hotel. I'm always satisfied. It's near Union Station, and in walking distance to Downtown.

Not a fan favorite
Pros:

Upon check in I verified my reservation had a handicap room with roll in shower. It did. I checked into the room only to find that the grab bar, necessary for any handicapped individual was falling off the wall. I reported it and they immediately did fix it. They remounted the bar. See photo. There was no bar hand soap in the room. I asked housekeeping for some soap and they gave me a dispenser of soap. It looked as though they refilled it several times and it was filthy. The hotel did have a pool lift for disabled, though I didn't use it. The shower chair in the shower was mounted way too low. I could get on it, but getting off was extremely difficult

The cost was excessive more than maximum indicated for the room.
We booked a king room and got twin room
They ran out of towels and removed our old ones so we couldn’t shower
The bathroom was falling apart with parts missing in the bath/shower

Nice, clean hotel with friendly staff. We had a great stay.
Pros:

Nice, clean hotel. Friendly staff. The air conditioner was awesome! I like it cold when I sleep, and some places don't have very good air conditioners. It was nice and dark in my room, and quiet. Overall a great stay.

Cons:

We didn't use the breakfast since we had to pay extra for it. The location of this hotel was a little inconvenient. We had a conference at the Indy Conference Center and if we moved our vehicle, it was a LOT of extra to park closer. It was a little far for comfortable walking.

Cons:

The employees at check in. Check in was supposed to be 3pm. Waited hours before they would check me in… causing me to miss out on an event I was supposed to attend. Male employee was very verbally abusive to female employee. And then male employee threatened the entire lobby of people that he was going to cancel everyone’s reservation. So unprofessional and made me very uncomfortable. This was unacceptable!

DO NOT STAY HERE!
Pros:

Waited over 45 minutes to check on only to find out our room wasn’t ready. Still not ready when we left four our concert and staff refused to give us an estimated time. Thank you Holiday Inn for making what was supposed to be a fun trip extremely stressful. Will always be staying at Hilton from now on. PS - spending over $1k for this mess!!

Location is good and rooms are quite big.

Cons:

Breakfast was terrible, there was nothing to eat and everything was dirty.
There was no room cleaning service, during 6 night, they came only 2-3 times and changed only towels, not cleaning room and covering the bed.
