This is our 4th time in this hotel, but last time was several years ago so there are many improvements- the rooms has been modernised, new restaurant menu, new area with swimming pool, a gym and Thai boxing added, and a spa. But the main character of the property is maintained- being a very relaxed, beautiful seaside hotel. All staff are extremely helpful and friendly too, no ask too big. We will be back again soon, thank you xx
Family feel hotel. Right next to the beach. The restaurant open all day. Great fresh food. Will come again next year.
Lovely beach. Family feel. Great food. Fab massage. Thai boxing. Everything we could hope for and more.
Excellent family feel hotel. Beach is great. Hotel is warm and friendly. Good gym. Been here 10 times over the past 15 years. Away from the madness of the clubs etc. Perfect.
Breakfast has coffee and egg station.
Yoga every day. Gym etc.
It has all you need plus staff always trying to be helpful. 🫶😎
Disappointing. This “resort” is dated and in need of some serious attention. The pool is very small for a resort and it was disgusting. The color of the water was murky, there was so much sand in it we didn’t even want to go in. Out “superior” bungalow was decent , the bed was pretty comfortable, but we were in the back of the resort area and heard all of the loud construction truck and other traffic noise early in the morning and on the evening.
It was nice to walk out and be on the beach,
This side of the island, the water is nice and calm, we went next door and had great food at the chill out hotel. We did not have good food at this resort, but there are many nice cafes and restaurants not too far down the beach and in town.
I think they need to hire more staff to keep the pool clean and tidy up the place. It’s a 2 star resort at best.
Great wellness beachfront resort with great breakfast and lunch options
This place is very special, lovely vibe, yoga, wellbeing or just good old beach location resort. Rooms are great, we liked the one closer NOT the bungalows. Yoga every day if you want and lovely sala. Great menu and breakfast and healthy juice combos. Good surroundings too.
A gem of a resort. Yoga, meditation and wellbeing focused or just an amazing beach location.
I stayed here while on a trip with family and it was great! two ladies have a cabana just down the beach who give you massages on the beach for a reasonable price; 100 - 200 baht! and the staff are so friendly! I'm from Australia and to be honest, there are little to no language barriers! the food was great as well and they gave you good exploration pamphlets! thanks to them, I hugged an elephant and swam with a turtle! the wildlife just here is amazing. I saw fish and parrots and they have a pet dog there! I loved the included breakfast buffet most! but you can also order your own! I also loved the beach as It was so clean! there is also a rather deep pool of you don't want to go on the beach! 10/10 if I went to Thailand again would stay!
I went for a juice detox. The raw food menu was really good, best raw papaya salad I’ve had. The room was comfortable ,spacious & quiet. The location is lovely, lipa Noi is one of the best beaches in Koh Samui. It’s quiet, clean & the water sparkling clear
All the staff are extremely helpful & accommodating. The practitioners & yoga teachers are some of the best, I’ve experienced. If you are looking for a relaxing, healthy holiday, in a beautiful location, this is the place to go
We didn't stay at this resort however we ate at the Alchemy Cafe on at least 5 occasions during our 2 week stay in Lipa Noi. The cafe has an extensive vegetarian menu, the food was delicious and we worked our way through the cocktail menu too.
It's a very relaxing place to sit and watch the sun go down whilst enjoying a drink and good company.
Our daughter went to yoga classes there and had a massage and pedicure, which she rated highly.
This is my second time at Anahata Wellness Resort, and once again, it exceeded all expectations. During my first visit, I spent four days here with little expectation, as it wasn't a brand name chain. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the incredible experience it offered. This time, I extended my stay to seven days, and I'm delighted to say that the retreat continues to exceed my expectations.
I'm grateful for the opportunity to travel within my own country during these challenging times, thanks to Covid. It led me to discover this hidden gem on Samui's Lipa Noi beach. The location is truly breathtaking, and the charm of the beachfront cottage coupled with stunning sunsets creates an idyllic setting for a wellness retreat.
Despite not being a luxury brand, the property boasts a minimal eco-friendly design that aligns perfectly with nature. The accommodations are adequate and comfortable, providing everything you need to feel at ease. This approach adds to the authentic experience and makes the retreat even more special.
The staff, particularly Nan and Pui, the manager, along with Ko, the restaurant supervisor at Alchemy Cafe, were incredibly helpful throughout my stay. Their warm hospitality and attention to detail made me feel like I was among friends. They went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met and that I had a truly wonderful experience.
The daily yoga sessions at the Sala with stunning oceanview and soothing sound of the waves in the background were invigorating and well-guided, catering to practitioners of all levels.
The massage services were divine and Nid the skilled therapist helped melt away my remaining tension from my office syndrome.
One of the most surprising and delightful aspects of my stay at Anahata Wellness Resort and dining at Alchemy Cafe was the realization that going to the beach without indulging in seafood could be this amazing.
The chefs' creativity and dedication to crafting super delicious and unique recipes left me in awe. From flavorful curries to fresh salads bursting with colors and flavors, I found myself eager to try something new each day. Even the juices were a revelation, each one more refreshing than the last. I was able to indulge in these delectable dishes for seven days straight without ever feeling bored or unsatisfied. The service of the restaurant staff at Alchemy Cafe was also truly touched my heart. Their genuine care and warmth made every dining experience special. From remembering my preferences to recommending new dishes to try, they made me feel valued as a guest.
This heartwarming service added an extra layer of joy to my stay at Anahata Wellness Resort. It’s these little touches of thoughtfulness and kindness that make a significant difference.
Without a doubt, I will return to Anahata Wellness Resort and Alchemy Cafe in the future. It has become my go-to destination for soulful escapes and revitalization. If you’re looking for a slice of paradise and an unforgettable wellness experience, I wholeheartedly recommend this hidden gem on Lipa Noi beach.
We had a five day visit to Anahata just recently. It was a perfectly relaxed break that we were looking for. We were made most welcome and all the staff went out of the way to help you and nothing was too much trouble. The food was very good and possibly fronting one of the best beaches in Ko Samui was a highlight. We would return again anytime. Thanks again .
I bought the package from the travel exhibition for 2 Beachfront Bungalow but since October to April ( now 22nd of Feb) they are never available, I had asked times to times. Staff reply once and back again after 1-2 days omg....
I made a call, never get the answer in one time, they said will contact back but never, I can extract the evidence from my cell phone company how many time I tried to call.
This place looks popular among western travelers, I have no idea they prefer foreigners or not, but I asked them if possible Anahata can refund me 8,000 THB from 12,000 THB I paid if you are really really full.
I don't know if they find new customers they will get more room rate but please refund me just 60% ect I would be fine.
They offer to extend the validity but I you were me how is your feel, and right now I got pregnant and more than 2 years I can go again. At the beginning I know it's not hotel false but I try to booked since August until now no have any day 2 Bangalow are available.
Yesterday and today I called them both night time and daytime by the phone number on Facebook, Google and it's website, and no one answer.
This is totally bad experience T_T
If management team saw this message please kindly contact me
I booked a fitness 7days retreat in Jan 23 and the experience superseded my expectations in the most amazing way.
The programme provided was amazing and well planned. The staff and team were all very professional with an overall holistic approach - Simon & Maria were extremely knowledgeable. The fitness, yoga & PT sessions were also amazing.
Food was great! Great vibe.
Highly recommend :)
First 10 days were really good nice atmosphere and good mix of people staying, yoga classes available if needed at a fee. Small gym with good facilities and generally it was empty every time I went.
Very few loungers on beach and they were broken upon arrival but fixed shortly after.
Obviously Covid has made travel at present very different and so a bit more wear and tear around the place.
Food from the menu was very very good and all staff were very helpful and friendly even if they spoke little English.
We really wanted to love the place but it is like two resorts in one - if you stay on Anahata side I think the experience would be better than staying on the Satva side where we were rooms are basic but comfortable enough. Privacy could be issue for some as if in room people walk by and look straight in your room so curtains need to be drawn so not gaped at.
Sonya was outstanding and tried to help as much as possible - we had booked in for 21 nights but chose to leave a few nights earlier.
If you are doing wellness programs then just right, a place to stay for shorter time otherwise .
We stayed in the 2-bedroom bungalows right next to the beach, one of the swimming pools, and the restaurant. Basic, but very spacious and nice bungalows. The resort is remote from anything, but a quick taxi trip will take you in to the city of Nathon where you get everything you need.
I recommend to start the Thailand trip with 3-4 nights here to calm down and get into the holiday wibe.
Basic, but good breakfast. Missed some yoghurt and oats.
The oldest swimming pool is in desperate need for some TLC, but it works! It has great view of the ocean. The other pool is newer and tucked in among the villas on the other side of the resort.
The sun beds are ok, but the mattresses on top are NOT ok. They are laying out all day and night. Wet and filled with stinking water that has to be drained every morning. Not good, but the beach is nice, so it is not a very big issue.
All of the staff are amazing! Polite and friendly. Always smiling!
Stayed at the Anahata resort for our 1 day quarantine in March, although we booked for 2 nights. Nan was an absolute diamond from booking to check out. She is a credit to the resort, nothing was too much trouble.
We arrived late and were quickly shown to our 2 bedroom bungalow. As we had to quarantine, we were given menus and ordered food and drinks that were swiftly delivered to our room. The food was lovely and was just what we needed. In the morning, we received a message that our tests were clear and we could go to breakfast.
The breakfast is really good and caters for all. My wife tried the smoothie bowls which were amazing and very big portions. The two bedroom bungalow has separate ensuite bathrooms, each room has their own tv and safe. The seating area could do with a few more chairs, as it is very spacious with tea, coffee, water and a large fan. The beds were very comfortable and the bedrooms are a good size. The resort is on a nice stretch of beach with a few sunbeds, although the sunbeds could do with some tlc. The pool is also nice, small, with a few sunbeds.
The resort advertises itself as a wellness retreat and you would definitely have a relaxing time here. It’s in a quiet area but there are a few places to get food nearby. As things get back to a new normal, there will no doubt be more local shops and food places re-opening. As we only had a short stay, we didn’t try any of the classes but we’re sure they would be very good if they matched the service and food standards. Very pleased we chose here for our 1st return to Thailand after a forced 2 years away, it was well worth the paperwork and queuing at immigration. Nan and her team really look after their guests.
This is a great little cheap resort, the location right on Lipa Noi beach is fab. We had a beach bungalow and we’re just a few feet from the sea, needless to say the view was stunning.
Massages here are amazing as is the view of the sea and the price, we had a 2 hour sunset massage every night during our weeks detox here.
Good resort for a quick detox as they serve great cold pressed juices and vegan food.
This is a basic resort with few facilities but location and the option to have good organic food make it good value.
We visited the restaurant most nights during our 10 night stay at the Nikki beach resort. They food was amazing and so were the staff. They had so many options for lunch and dinner, we were never disappointed! Would highly recommend if your in the area!
