Excellent hotel, great staff & a really good location.
Pros:

The whole experience was excellent, from checking in to checking out. All the staff were really friendly & competent. The room was a good size, clean & comfortable. Breakfast was excellent & in a really nice space. The bar area was nicely put together too & inviting. I'd definitely recommend & stay again.

Cons:

Nothing, it was just what we wanted. The hotel really enhanced our stay.

It was okay.
Pros:

The location was amazing, and the staff was nice.

Cons:

They put us originally on the 4th floor the same day the rest of the family booked on the 10th floor. The problem was the 4th floor is very close to the neighboring bar and trash bins (which were picked up early morning). We requested to move because even if the windows were closed anything below the 7th floor from my experience was too close to outside noise. Also the next room we moved to have a backup in the shower, so they had to snake the drain....

We had a lovely time
Pros:

Check in was smooth and staff was friendly.

Cons:

Only one elevator was working and it was very crowded. I don't like the breakfast setup with only a flat price. I like to eat smaller amounts and therefore an a la carte menu works best .Also, there was no concierge to help with planning sightseeing ! The bed mattress was a little to firm!

Really enjoyable
Pros:

Room was a good size, a lot of hotels you fell squeezed; bathroom was excellent with great big bathtub; bed was comfortable; staff were helpful. Location could not be better, for station, for sights

Pros:

We chose this hotel because of its proximity to Waverly station. We discovered when leaving that there is an underground tunnel that connects the hotel to the train station and avoids the street congestion. This was very helpful when maneuvering luggage. Rooms were clean, comfortable, spacious, and had all expected amenities. I had only one minor problem, and a staff member addressed it within a few minutes of my call to the front desk. We did not eat breakfast there. Highly recommend!

No complaints at all.

Pros:

This hotel is a comfortable and clean place to stay. It is really easy to get to many of the main attractions in Edinburgh and you get to start off your day with an excellent breakfast

Pros:

La ubicación es excelente. Junto a Carlton hill, ideal para subir a ver el atardecer y en pleno centro para verlo todo. Frente a él paran los buses turísticos. El hotel es muy cómodo y agradable. Tiene spa aunque no tuvimos tiempo de probarlo
