Disappointed as the experience was marred by bad service
Pros:

The breakfast facilities are inadequate as there are only 12 tables for such a large hotel had to wait 15 Minutes on a table and then our food never arrived and we had to leave as we were checking out. Poor service

As above, also I booked hotel specifically because it had a pool I was emailed a week before arrival that pool facilities would not be open I booked hotel 3 months prior so this was not exceptable notice

During check in I was left for several minutes before staff even acknowledged I was there. It felt more like I was a burden checking in than a paying guest. When we went to our room one of the beds and hairs all over the top of the bed. Not just a few alot. When I went back downstairs I asked for the manager. No apology and didn’t seem to be to bothered that I was making a complaint. He said he’d ring housekeeping to get it sorted. Again no apology and no time line. We left for few hours and it was done when we came back.

Pros:

Great location and friendly staff. Lovely touch of balloons and chocolate brownies in room for daughters birthday.

Cons:

The pool was broken, which they didn't tell us until it was too late to cancel the booking.And the whole reason we booked was for the pool, and the spa
The spa consisted of a tiny sauna and tiny steam room
We also booked appointments for the massage and their system.Messed up, so it booked us for the wrong day, but still charged us
We did , however, get our money back in a timely manner

Perfect stay
Pros:

It felt very welcoming and cosy. They made my stay very enjoyable and I even got a little duck as souvenir. I even got a room with bath tube as requested (swimming pool was closed for maintenance). Also is just a few steps from Princess Street and a big mall.
