Pleasant stay however the pool needs cleaned
Pros:

Our room was spacious and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. We had a brief stay as a storm took out the power in our neighborhood. I was looking at several hotels and decided on this one due to the breakfast, pool, and proximity to our home.

Cons:

The kids (8 and 11) were only in the pool for about 5 mins. They were a bit grossed out as there was gray film floating around, the pool looked and they said, felt unclean. It should be noted this is the first time my kids have ever exited a pool without being made to do so. I was shocked that it didn’t pass standards for a 8yo but it did look cloudy and gross. Disappointed as this was a deciding factor. Also the front desk lady seemed overwhelmed and overworked. However she and the other staff were friendly.

We would definitely stay here again!!!
Pros:

We super enjoyed the free dinner buffet, which was a total surprise when we checked in. Enjoyed a loaded salad the first night and tacos the second night. Both were scrumptious!! Our suite was really nice too.

Cons:

I originally booked the hotel because we wanted to swim, but the water in the pool had something concerning floating in the water. We asked about it at the desk and were told that the pool was just cleaned and it was probably the chlorine. She said the pool person hadn’t notified her of a problem, so it should be safe to swim in. We checked the pool water the next day and the situation was the same. However the surprise dinner buffet made up for our disappointment of not being able to swim.

I asked for 2 beds specifically and got one queen. Rooms were fully booked. I did not pay over $400 to have someone sleep on a pull out couch, a poor one at that. Not to mention the staff barely wanted to supply sheets and a pillow when asked

Bad smell and found a cockroach
Pros:

There was a sewage smell coming out of my sink and on my last day i found a cockroach in the room. The free breakfast and free dinners on M-T-W were a nice perk but not enough to make up for the negatives.
