My stay at this beautiful hotel with my family of four for Umrah was truly wonderful in many ways. Its proximity to the Haram, with shuttle buses running every 10 minutes and reaching the Haram only taking 3 minutes, was a major plus. The hotel rooms were spacious and clean, and the restaurant offered a variety of dishes. Most importantly, the reception staff were fantastic, providing excellent service with a warm smile and prayers, making you feel like you were part of the family. I would like to thank all the staff, especially Wahbi, Amer, Mu'taz, and Abdul Latif. The three nights I spent in Mecca performing Umrah were filled with energy and vitality, making me feel completely at home.
Aite, let’s get right down to it.
Pros:
- Rooms are spacious, comfortable & clean.
- Shopping inside the hotel (on M floor) is good & super cheap.
- Good eating & drinking options inside the hotel.
- Buses to the Haram are right outside the hotel - very easy access. Take you thru a tunnel exclusively reserved for the hotel shuttles. A very short ride to the Haram outskirts.
Cons:
- Breakfast had a decent variety, but personally I did not like it much. Caters more to Arab taste and desi taste. Less of Continental taste. Bakery section & beverages section were good tho.
- Adhaan cannot be heard inside the hotel room.
- After being dropped off by the shuttle, it is still a long walk to the Haram courtyard, let alone the Kaba.
- On Fridays, shuttles stop operating after 9am! So you are stuck. Either u walk, or u go early and wait for the Friday prayers. Or get a taxi which is apparently expensive during those hours.
Conclusion:
I have stayed at Jabal Omar in the past, and think that is better location-wise. If u can afford it, go for that.
For the price, Le Méridien Towers is a decent option if u don’t mind walking more.
The shuttle bus is amazing
Hotels.com UK has done us over by not providing the correct information which has led to a chaotic situation. However hotel staff members and front desk were incredibly helpful and very understanding and accommodating, they handled this professionally and made sure everything is resolved and our stay is comfortable. Room is nice and services are great, price is excellent for what you get. Definitely 10/10 for the property but 3/10 for Hotels.com UK for messing us around!!
One of the best hotel in mecca, best hospitality, best service, and the employess and management hotels so kindness, in the room all facilities complete and very clean, has facilities 5 times to haram by buses less 2 minutes, i very like these hotel and i hope can back soon 😊
Thank you for your hospilaty
One of best locations for proximity to holy Masjid 2 minutes by shuttle bus service 24 hrs, facility and rooms are clean.
This hotel offers a good balance between price and service. The food is suitable for Southeast Asian tastes, and most importantly, there's a shuttle bus every 15 minutes that takes you directly to the tunnel leading to Masjidil Haram. This makes worship more comfortable and facilitates easy back-and-forth travel between the hotel and Masjidil Haram.
This is one of the properties in Makkah that will make you come back again with confidence. I spent 3 days in the last week of Jan 2025 and from the time I stepped in till I left the hotel, every service was at top level. Starting from Reception, Room Service, Restaurant, Concierge and Guest Services...the team is GREAT.
Big "THANK YOU" to all staff, the hotel cleanness, prompt response and the will to make your stay AMAZING is quite EXCEPTIONAL. I only wish that the transportation service to/from Haram improves a bit, I know it's imposed by the Saudi authorities.
I would definitely come back and recommend you do so too.
The hotel rooms are comfortable and well equipped and the buffet breakfast changes regularly and is full of variety. The staff are very courteous and proactive, especially Miss Wujdan. Even though we spoke on the reception phone late in the evening, she was very understanding and went over and above to make sure our stay was comfortable and make us feel welcome. True hospitality.
1) We reserved 3 Executive Suites paying $218.00 for each room.
We reserved for 2 guests per room, for total 6 guests.
Later while we checked in last night, the hotel didn't have rooms in the same tower. So instead, they promised us 2 Royal Suites. But when they actually gave us they gave us one Royal (Suite 1411) & one Executive (Suite 1708). They reneged on the promise. This is cheating.
2) Later after we checked in we added another person, & paid for the other person another 100 Riyals. This morning they didn't allow the 7th guest for bathroom. We had to pay an additional 50 Riyal for the guest for breakfast. This is Fraud.
3) Bathroom/Toilet in Room 1411 was flooded last night, they came and fixed but didn't resolve. This morning it was flooded too.
4) Keys for the Room 1708 never worked. We went to reception 4 times to make the keys but still don't work.
We would like to change the rooms immediately to 3 Executive Rooms.
This hotel is fraudulent & very inefficient. Never we will stay here again & will not recommend this to anyone again.
Very good
Nice staff
Very spacious, newly renovated with clean carpets, included kitchen with microwave and living area.
Good hotel and very decently priced. Not the best location as you need to take a shuttle to the Haram. There are many though, but it is still an inconvenience. Most days they didn't put enough towels in the room. There is also literally nothing close by, within walking distance. To even go to a supermarket meant a trip on the shuttle.
Yes it was quite comfortable living and it's arrangements for busses was excellent. It's breakfast was meeting all my and my family requirements. One thing that annoyed me is that they did not provide locker in the room otherwise hotel room and ambiance was comparable with other star hotels in Macca.
The hype created for this hotel is much more but the real experience is that they are just average hotels.
Families who have experienced nearby hotels near masjid ul haram are requested not to indulge in that hype.. Because reaching to that hotel after ever prayer and then get back to Masjid from that hotel is such a hassle...
Review:
Pros:
The hotel offers a convenient 24/7 shuttle service to Haram, which is a major advantage for guests.
Cons:
Room Service: Housekeeping is quite limited. During our 6-night stay, room service was provided only twice, and only after multiple calls to the reception. Even then, the quality of cleaning was below expectations.
Amenities: The facilities do not meet the standards of a 5-star property. Based on our experience, these towers seem more like a 3-star hotel, merely leveraging the Le Meridien (Bonvoy) brand name.
Staff: The attitude of the reception staff, especially local employees, was disappointing. They were often rude and lacked fluency in English, which is critical given that the majority of guests are non-Arabic speakers.
Room Access Issues: The key cards frequently malfunctioned, particularly in Tower 8 on the 11th floor. This required multiple trips to the reception in Tower 5 to get the issue resolved, as there was no assistance from room service or staff. Guests are left to handle such problems on their own.
Room Lighting: The room had only two small ceiling lights positioned at the top of the glass window. To compensate for this, five different lamps were provided, but the room still felt quite dim. When traveling with a child, we prefer a well-lit room, and this was a major drawback.
This property needs significant improvements in service quality, staff training, lighting, and overall amenities to justify its branding and star rating.
We had the privilege of staying in the Royal Suite for 10 days, and I cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional experience we had. By the grace of Allah, this is the first five-star hotel I can truly describe as offering complete value for money….The shuttle service to Haram was phenomenal—undoubtedly one of the best in Makkah, in my humble opinion. We opted for the Indian full-board meal plan; while the variety was modest, the quality and taste were exceptional, Alhamdulillah. The hotel also features a well-equipped market where we found everything we needed—medicines, food items, a hair salon (better priced than the Clock Tower ones), and even clothing essentials like Ihram, all at competitive prices….For Ziyarah or visiting Masjid Aisha for Umrah, drivers are conveniently available outside the hotel 24/7…May Allah bless this establishment and its staff. God willing, I look forward to returning in the future, In Sha Allah. A truly remarkable and memorable experience—keep up the excellent work!
Supportive staff multiple choice in breakfast
Shuttle services superb with no disruption.
Will book next time.
Obaid very helpful in restaurant.
A good experience for a five-star hotel and at a good price. It is worth trying again. As for the restaurant, it was okay and the room was good. As for the reception, it was smooth and the treatment was good. I hope to repeat the experience again..
