We celebrated our 18th wedding anniversary in this hotel. We started with drinks at the pool bar. Alex and Henrique were really attentive and friendly. After that we had an amazing dinner at Tereze, the hotel’s restaurant. The room was amazing, the whole service was fantastic incredible. I highly recommend this hotel for a romantic gateway.
Excellent service, as always, in a beautiful hotel. This is my third stay here, and the consistency is impressive. Year after year we’ve met familiar faces working here which speaks volumes about the experience you’ll have. The pool area has been upgraded with wood flooring and furniture. The rooms are impeccably clean with attention to detail. Santa Theresa is a semi-secret gem in Rio - don’t miss it.
The restaurant provided great views of Rio, delicious food and attentive service from Tomas.

Son emplacement est idéal, le personnel est souriant et aux petits soins. Tout est magnifique.
L’hôtel a fait l’objet de rénovations très réussies ces dernières années.
Le petit déjeuner est parfait, la piscine très agréable. Il est possible de dîner au restaurant gastronomique : à recommander.
Les snacks au bord de la piscine sont également très bons.
En bref un havre de paix avec une mention particulière pour la gentillesse de tous les employés.
Seul petit bémol peu important : les nouveaux transats au bord de la piscine qui sont trop bas si l’on n’a plus 20 ans 😀. Mais très jolis au demeurant.
Le personnel était réellement sympathique et avenant. Ils nous ont aidé à passer une lune de miel exceptionnelle. L’hotel en lui-même est splendide, un véritable havre de paix.
Amazing as always! Typically come with the wife who also loves this stylish oasis. This visit was for business and sadly came alone, but the Sta T staff were so kind and thoughtful. Thanks to all staff — including Alex especially for his caipis and the impromptu Portuguese lesson.
Fantastic meal and drinks but above all amazing service from Tony & Jaybe.
I went for lunch and the art gallery. I ate poolside, with a wonderful view and breeze. My waiter Tonny was excellent, just the right amount of attention and timely service and he was knowledgeable about the menu. Rare to find in Rio. The food was quite good. I recommend the goat cheese salad with slivered, caramelized castanhas.

We came here for our last night of our honeymoon and the service, room, restaurant, spa and pool were all superb. We had a wonderful time and every member of staff were friendly and attentive. Shout out to Alex from the pool bar for fabulous mojitos!
Breakfast at the hotel was really good. Everything tasted fresh and there were plenty of options to pick from. What made it even better was the service. Aroldo was super friendly and attentive, and he made the whole experience feel extra special.
The interiors of the hotel were stunning, the room was spacious and the bedding was so comfortable.

Alex was incredible, amazing service made our stay! Fabricio helped us plan loads of excursions. Totally recommend the hotel as a wonderful escape from the busy city life.

Our first time experiencing Rio as true tourists after having previously lived here for 5 years. The careful attention and care shown to both my son and I by all staff especially Fabrício and Alex, took service to another level, all in a genuine, warm yet professional manner. The room was full of little touches for both my son and I, and was extremely comfortable. The hotel sensitively acknowledges the history of the building, and so much character has been preserved. The perfect end to our stay in the cidade maravilhosa… as such, so glad we stayed the extra night.
