The room had an unpleasant odor with would not dissipate event with the A/C running. That in turn provide an uncleanliness feel - bathroom was also questionable regarding cleanliness. The fridge and A/C were extremely noisy, which allowed for little sleep. The staff were very nice and pleasant. The photos and description do not match what being sold. Sorry. Not worthy the money.

Quiet, out of the way, peaceful neighbourhood. Within walking distance of several restaurants and a short drive to the beaches. Spacious, clean rooms with kitchens, and comfortable beds. Wonderful, helpful staff. Well kept hotel with competitive rates. And lovely outdoor pool, lounge area.

The best thing about staying at this hotel was its employees.. especially YANELYS during the day, and MICHELLE at night. They were so kind and accommodating. The room was clean but it had an odd odor.. maybe from the air conditioning or something… it was better if the bathroom fan was on. IHG is fortunate to have such wonderful customer service advocates as YANELYS!

We stayed at the Candlewood Suites in Fort Myers for three nights. Everything was just fine. A couple suggestions… clean the carpet, had to wear shoes as our feet got very dirty. Ask housekeeping to prop the door open when filling their carts in the morning. We were in a room close by and the constant door slamming woke us up every morning. Over all it was a nice place to stay, and we would stay here again.just not next to housekeeping.

Each year we visit Ft Myers and the last few years we’ve stayed at Candlewood Suites and plan to again. The rooms are well appointed, the staff is friendly and the facilities are top-notch. Ideal location.

I was very surprised with this hotel. The staff were very polite, nice and friendly! Had to wait to wait to check in, which was no problem as I was visiting family. This was a big weekend for everyone as it was Valentine’s Day. Lots of special moments being made. It was also tourist season. The suite was beautiful and large, had a full kitchen. It was clean and smelled good. We were on the end and on the top floor so the noise wasn’t an issue. We stayed two nights and never needed anything. Towels and bathroom were spotless. Yes I would book again. And I did! They have a weight room laundry facilities and heated pool. All I didn’t use. This is my second stay here and was excellent as the first one.

Love coming here every February.

Good customer service. Clean and comfortable room. Only issue was the door was very difficult to open and close. Convenient location. Could hear the TV in the next room by the shared door, but not too bad. Overall pleasant experience.

I really enjoyed my stay (except that I could not use the pool because of the weather). The staff are very pleasant and accommodating. Next month will be my 9th visit. It is nice to have a wonderful cup of coffee, the most comfortable bed to get a restful sleep, and the ability to do my laundry. My granddaughter is eager to stay at Candlewood Suites, as well.

Not a bad place for a night. The room was fine, though the furniture and equipment felt old. Overall, everything was okay. It’s a mid-range hotel—nothing wow, but decent for a short stay.

I was very impressed by the friendly helpfulness of all staff I was in contact with. The room was clean and quiet, and supplied with everything I needed. I loved the free laundry facilities.
