It gave us what we needed for an overnight stay.Staff were lovely.Good hot breakfast
As you walked up to hotel entrance there was a distinct smell of sewerage,up in the room again near the top of the bed a faint smell of sewerage but after bathroom door had been closed over night the smell when door opened was very strong.
All good thanks, really near the town, I could see the trains from my window.

Great location. Very clean room.
When we checked in, we were given the keys to soneone elses room. Apologies were made, and we were upgraded to a superior room. So all good in the end. But we were very shocked to enter a room that someone hadnt vacated. And quite a big mistake to make given what has happened at other hotel chains.
Superior room was great though. Just 1 minor issue, that the sink plug got stuck in the plughole, so sink full of water when we vacated. Reported to reception on checkout.
Will probably stay again next year though.
