The worst experience ever.
Pros:

Just the location

Cons:

1. Staff doesn't know how to behave infront of clients they use filthy words to talk with eachother while dealing with customers (we felt they are not trained enough to work in a hotel too).
2. Food is awful and the presentation is so bad too.
3. When we were requesting water bottles they didn't send it and when we requesting again and again they used to not to answer the phone.
4. They doesn't have a smart tv and the tv is really small.
5. Once a staff member opend the door without knocking when we are in the room (just enter the room after roaming arround because of that it wasn't locked but closed) and we got confused.
6. We had to request glasses twice.
7. Pool is not cleaned and the water is really thick because of that
8. There were so many crows and their poop and dirts in balconies.
9. Pool seating areas and reception seating areas are really old and dirty.
10. They spoiled our whole vacation.

Enttäuschender Aufenthalt
Pros:

Freundlicher und zuvorkommender Service, Frühstück großzügig bestückt, gute Lage mit umliegenden Restaurants, Parkmöglichkeiten, großes Zimmer mit Balkon

Cons:

Wir haben uns leider nicht wohl gefühlt. Das Hotel ist sehr groß, aber alles ist irgendwie leer und lieblos gestaltet. Die Gänge zu den Zimmern sind gruselig, dunkel. Die Wäsche im Zimmer war nicht sauber. Wir waren nur eine Nacht und haben den Pool nicht genutzt und waren nur für einen Blick am Strand.

Für Transit zum Flughafen okay
Pros:

Wir haben das Hotel genutzt um am nächsten Tag schnell am Flughafen zu sein. Dafür war es okay, Pool und Blick auf den Strand in Ordnung. Toller Sonnenuntergang und viele Restaurants in der Nähe.

Cons:

Leider sehr in die Jahre gekommen und nicht ansprechend. Fotos entsprechen nicht der Realität.

Pros:

The pool is nice with loungers, the staff were really friendly, the rooms are huge.

Cons:

The breakfast offering was limited, we came down with an hour left of breakfast and nothing had been replenished so we had a very small breakfast. Location is a bit of a walk to some of the bars and restaurants but overall good location.

Pros:

The staff were exceptional, very friendly, welcoming, and always available to help. Definitely 10/10 for the service. The location is excellent, especially for travellers arriving or departing from Sri Lanka, with easy access to the airport. We also enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, swimming pool, and the English breakfast was just ok. The late check-out option was very convenient and paid almost half of the room rent though the hotel was empty.

Cons:

The main area that needs attention is the condition and maintenance of the property. The rooms and bathrooms are very outdated, with some issues including weak air-conditioning, humidity, AC water leaks, peeling paint, rust, and serious mould in some areas, particularly on the ground floor. 1 floor bathrooms also need better ventilation. The mini refrigerator was found not working and stinky , staff changes immediately.The property has a lot of potential, but it would benefit greatly from renovation and regular maintenance.

Pros:

Easy and close to airport. They let us do a very late check in at 1am. Staff for breakfast were so helpful and food was really good.

Cons:

Drains were a bit whiffy, bathroom has been updated but not we'll kept.

Bien situé pour la première nuit après le long vol
Pros:

L’hôtel dispose d’une piscine avec vue sur mer. Les lits étaient confortables et les rideaux étaient opaques. Un bon logement d’une nuit avant de démarrer le circuit au Sri Lanka. Dans la rue il y a plein de restos dont un très bon resto « Edwin »tenu par une très gentille famille avec une super terrasse ou l’on mange sous la verdure et les belles plantes et les petites lumières.

De mensen zijn ontzettend behulpzaam, ze regelen alles gelijk voor je. We hadden een ruime kamer en een ruime badkamer. De kinderen hebben genoten van het mooie zwembad.
