I really loved sugar sands. I will for sure. Be staying here next time I visit Panama City Beach.

Good for a short stay, easy access to pool and the beach
Pros:

Good location, the kitchenette was a good size for making small meals, clean bathroom and spacious room.

Pros:

The beach by the hotel is beautiful, as was our view from our 5th floor balcony. The room was spacious and we had a full kitchen. We never made it to the pool, but it looked clean and nice.

Cons:

The parking is somewhat difficult, with an overflow lot across the street. We found the beds uncomfortable; perhaps it's time for replacement? Although the room was clean, we encountered multiple roaches (1 dead, 3 alive). Needless to say, we stored all our food and kitchen items in the fridge.

The beach was beautiful, customer service was great, the beds are comfy, AC in the rooms worked great.

Cons:

Online it says Panama city but really its Laquana beach, Panama was about a 30 minute walk or 5 miles down the road, The rooms could be cleaner. Killed about 1o roaches, one bed still had sand on top of it, no hair dryer, dishes had marks on them, key card stopped working and elevator needs AC.
