Our stay was wonderful and the on-duty staff just made it even better by making us feel welcome
Pros:

The breakfast was fantastic because of the variety of food choices and available eating time
You can have full breakfast or just have cereal or a bagel with cream cheese
I love the oatmeal and cranberry juice, and the banana nut muffin is a must

Cons:

The bed was a bit to firm for me, but my spouse loved it. I used the extra blanket as a cushion and that was helpful
If someone has muscle or bone problems an eggshell pad or extra blanket could make the difference. It really did the trick for me

Very nice stay. I would stay there again.
Pros:

The hotel was Very Clean and the staff were professional and very friendly. I loved the complimentary water bottles and the paper plates, bowls and forks they had on stand by in case you needed them.

Cons:

The bed was very squeaky but comfortable. Also, There was no plunger in bathroom.

This is my go-to hotel stay when visiting family. Everything is close to perfect in my eyes.
Pros:

Always welcoming, and very clean.

Cons:

The bed pillows are very deflated. I have to stack at least three to make one pillow. The bed feels good but I hate the squishy pillows.

The Best Hotel in the Area >>> and the Team to Match
Pros:

I've stayed at and coordinated events at a lot of hotels, and the Hampton Inn in Mt. Pleasant has genuinely earned a special place on that list. We've brought our group here multiple times for multi-day events — 60 to 70 guests, both conference rooms fully in use, high demands, long days, and a lot of moving parts. This team has handled every single visit with professionalism, warmth, and a "we'll figure it out" attitude that is increasingly rare.

The manager, Cassy, is exceptional. She's responsive, solution-oriented, and truly goes above and beyond to make sure our group is taken care of. Working with her feels like working with a partner, not just a vendor. Whatever we've needed... from room setups to last-minute logistics, she's found a way to make it happen.

The maintenance team deserves equal praise. Our point of contact there was consistently present, helpful, and genuinely invested in making our events run smoothly. That level of care from every level of staff is what sets a hotel apart.

We've been told we're their largest group, and you'd never know it from the service, they treat us like it's exactly what they were built for. If you're planning a group event in East Texas, stop looking. This is your place. And if you're just passing through Mt. Pleasant, this is hands-down the best hotel in the area.

My stay was nice and short.
Pros:

The room was nice clean and comfortable. The staff were nice and friendly. If I were to ever come back to Mt. Pleasant again I would stay there again.
