Close to town. Clean. Somewhat older and outdated. Pool was clean.

Close to Downtown Helen

Cons:

Breakfast was chinsy even for continental. Only apple juice, no fresh fruit, no bagels, only toast, no pastries, no source of protein.

Keep your expectations low. Rooms are just like the 70’s motels, except dressed up with modern tile.
Cons:

The door didn’t lock fully when we left for the day. The lock and door were loose. Had to use the deadbolt at night to fully lock the door.

I guess my only dislike about the stay is that there is no coffee maker in the room.

Clean rooms
Pros:

Room was clean and comfortable. Location was excellent. Pool was clean. Good value for your money.

Cons:

Breakfast was horrible and ants were in the breakfast area. Door to the room was difficult to close. Toilet would not flush well.

Great value for this area
Pros:

Close enough to center of town that we could walk. Nice staff. Clean. Regular size refrigerator.

Cons:

Waterproof pad on bed was slippery and noisy. The door to our room did not seal properly. Upon arrival our tv did not work and the TP holder was broken-both were remedied quickly upon our report to the desk.

Good stay, great location, easy in and out
Pros:

We had a quick stay but it was good. It was nice to have such close parking to the room since we had to load and unload one day apart. The AC worked wonderful, TV worked, beds were comfortable and the shower had super hot water. Front staff was nice and helpful at checkin and checkout. It was far enough away from central downtown where you weren’t stuck in all of the traffic but, it was close enough for a quick 2-3 min drive to everything.

Cons:

We did not have anything bad go on at our experience. We definitely recommend. There were some people out in the hallway that were very loud late at night but this probably isn’t a constant occurrence nor is it something the hotel could control. We turned up the tv and slept good. There was a little bit of debris in the sink and some on the floor but we just wiped it up. Overall clean and good stay.

Pros:

Friendly staff, easy to book, good value, great location. Waffles and breakfast items very nice.

Cons:

The bathtub sealer around tub and faucets had fuzzy black mold. They cleaned with bleach for us, but still looked bad. Silicone sealer and faucet sealers need replacing. We use a mold and mildew root killer good for public institutions to keep it controlled at our place.
Other then that it was a pleasant stay.

Fantastic
Pros:

Staff was super friendly. Rooms are clean. I needed to change the room and he was able to accommodate quickly. Breakfast usually closes but this stayed open later. Easy check in and out.
