Super clean room, comfortable beds and great location. Check in was super quick! When we arrived the computers were down so I was thinking it was going to be awhile to check in but nope it was super fast even with them having to do it the old school....pen and paper.

This was just what I needed for a good night’s rest before continuing my work trip further south.
It would have been a real treat if there had been an outdoor pool, but that’s not something I had thought about when making my reservation.

From the start, not as friendly or welcoming as other Hampton inn hotels I've stayed at recently. Usually the front desk offers bottled water at check in, not here.
There were a ton of rooms available and it's pretty clear why. Checked in, our room stunk of dog pee and had visible stains all over the carpet. Thankfully we were able to switch rooms. I know it's a pet friendly hotel, but I thought that would be limited to certain rooms or floors like in other hotels. It is not. Room #2 had only a faint dog smell at least and only a few stains in the carpet compared to the previous room. Not as clean as I'm used to from this chain, but not completely terrible. Furniture in the room is scuffed and worn, grout in the shower could use some bleach for sure. We were pleasantly surprised that there was a pool. Went down there, but there were no towels available. Pool water was murky and green, the supposedly heated pool was absolutely freezing and the entire pool area smelled horrific. I've never ever smelled a pool anywhere that smelled this bad before. It wasn't a chlorine or pool chemical smell, it was just absolutely foul. The only thing I can think to compare it to is if they had filled the pool with rancid urine and added a hint of feces.
The whiteboard on the wall had chemical results, the date, and the water temp scrawled on it. Supposedly it was 84 degrees, which has got to be off by at least 20 degrees. The date on the board was also from 4 days prior, so I'm assuming that's the last time any pool maintenance or chemical testing was done. Absolutely Grosssssss and makes me really question the cleanliness of literally everything else. Everyone else who stopped in to the pool area while we were down there immediately turned around and walked out.
