Please be aware that maintenance is being performed at our property on our water booster skid which will impact the upper floors between July 5, 2022 and July 7, 2022. The repairs will not impact our restaurants, kitchen or laundry facilities. Our pool and spa will remain open.

I really wish I had done more research. Our room was the farthest from the elevator and not clean.
Pros:

We had a horrible experience. The only plus was being so close to Cafe Rutika.

Cons:

We had to wait to check-in due to housekeeping running behind, the staff was too busy with late check-ins for me to tell them about my issues in my room. Our bathroom door didn’t close, the headboard looked shredded, there were dirty lights and plumbing, a water stain on the ceiling, and the handle in the shower was loose. We’ll definitely stick with Marriot.

Valet Team were fantastic!
Pros:

The Valet Team at the Hilton Downtown Richmond were all fantastic! The went out of their way to help my elderly parents and everyone arriving and departing. They truly were the best part of the Hilton experience. Parker Mink and all of the young men were exceptional!

Friendliest Bellman, Mark
Pros:

Mark "the bellman on Sunday AM shift" - Extremely helpful and friendly, even at the tail end of a long shift. He would greet our attendees and walk them to our space personally, not just point and forget them.  He created connections with them in that short walk and put them in a good mood when they reached us for registration.  This is unique and unmeasurable.  People come in drained and tired from traveling and he sent them off with a smile on their faces. 

Rating for the hotel is a 4, as they have some HVAX issues and the Front desk staff need training, but Mark the bellman gets a 5!

Good stay
Pros:

We’ve stayed here several times and it’s always a good experience. Breakfast was good, rooms were clean. They didn’t give us enough towels but quickly brought more when we called. The only thing I’d suggest is having more microwaves and that they are easier to find. Zione was very helpful loading the car when it was time to leave.

Location and Valet
Pros:

Location was fantastic, definitely one of the best things about the hotel. Room was good really no complaints about it. We stayed during a volleyball tournament (I believe) so it was sort of loud but not the hotels fault. The parking situation was good valet did a wonderful job, Hayden and Carlos were awesome and very friendly!
