Lovely boutique hotel close to the town centre
This hotel is in a great location, extremely central in a very busy area but once you go through the entrance is like an oasis of calm and tranquility. The design is beautiful, a lot of thought has gone in to it. The staff are fantastic and cant do enough for you. Breakfast by the hotels pond is a very nice setting and the breakfast menu is very good. All food and drinks here were great. The pool is lovely and although it is tucked away from the main bar/restaurant its not a problem, there is a phone station at the pool where you can call and order any drinks and food that you want and they bring it to you. The room was nice but a couple of niggles here for me, there is no TV in the room, I like to put on a TV for background when I'm in the room so not a game changer but just a personal thing that I wasn't aware of before I went, that's on me though not the hotel. Also the beds are extremely hard, there was already a mattress topper on and I asked for another one to be added. The hotel obliged with this straight away that day but unfortunately it made no difference other than as a short woman I almost needed a ladder to get on the bed, felt a bit like princess and the pea story, it was still much too firm for me. I would mention that if you are going to Cambodia I would avoid going during new year unless you want to join in the party, we arrived on day 1 of the 3 day celebrations again that was on us not checking before we booked but outside the hotel was manic, its not so much the water side of it as I noticed that as tourists unless you were carrying a water gun of some description the local people pretty much left you alone and didn't drown you, you might get a little squirt from cheeky children but in 40 degree heat, that's not a bad thing. The main issue is the noise level, it ramps up considerably as the sun starts to go down and continues in to the early hours, even the ear plugs didn't help. We also chose one of the hottest times of the year to go, 40 plus degrees meant it was way too hot to do much other that stay at the pool during the day and go out when the sun went down. We did book a Tuk Tuk private day tour of the 3 main Angkor Temples, this had a 7am Start and by 9am the temperature was already unbearable. The temples are fairly close by and are amazing, I couldn't go to Cambodia without visiting them, but my friend almost passed out from the heat, according to our guide, November is the best time of year to visit so note to self, don't go in April again. The tour was very good and only spoiled by the extreme heat but again that was on us. Overall I loved it here and would stay again.
we had a suite, so it was big with plenty of room for our 6 nights.
The breakfast was very bad for the cost of the hotel the breakfast was appalling.
The motor bike noise in the room at certain times was not relaxing.
Pool was OK but not as good as some others.

Personal charm of the whole hotel setting, spacious rooms, beautiful garden setting incl. a wonderful water lilly pond and pool and top notch services.
The massage in particular was the best we had, and we tried TripAdvisor #1,2 and 3 as well as Lonely planet recommended Spa. Angkor Village had the best massage of them all. Location was perfect, everything in walking distance. Pictures of the listing are appropriate in June '26. Luxury yet small size and intimate hotel.
We liked everything.
The staff is so friendly, and helpful.
Once i want to go to ZipLine, she helps calling and confirm the time and price for us.
Also, they even prepared the room for shower before we take the night bus back to Siem Reap.
Stunning hotel beautifully situated with easy access to all you need. Lovely friendly accommodating staff. Breakfast in a magnificent spot with a good range of options. Unfortunately it was a little quiet as perhaps not the height of season but we loved it nevertheless
Would happily return!
Great location and the design of the property felt like a real village

Beautiful property
Exceptional service
The absolute best place I've ever stayed at, hands down. Not only is the atmosphere beautiful, but the staff are amazing and really look out for you. Special shout out to Haw, but also Linh and David - they made us feel so welcome. We had an evening flight home so booked an extra night to give us a few more hours with the room, and when we left earlier than they were expecting they only charged us a late check out fee instead of the whole night like we expected. The breakfast is AMAZING and the location is perfect for exploring Siem Reap and close to the temples. Highly recommend.
Restaurant exceptionnel!

Our stay at Angkor Village Resort was truly exceptional and easily one of the highlights of our Cambodia trip. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and cared for. Every detail was handled with genuine warmth, professionalism, and attention, making the entire stay effortless and relaxing.
A very special thank you to Sinan at the front desk, who assisted us with all our travel arrangements and ensured everything was perfectly organised throughout our stay. Marilyn at the front desk was also incredibly warm, welcoming, and helpful at every opportunity.
The restaurant and bar experience was outstanding. Yano,Eang and Veip at the restaurant provided exceptional service and made every meal enjoyable with their friendly and attentive hospitality. The food was consistently delicious with a fantastic variety of options. Rady at the bar was absolutely excellent, creating a wonderful atmosphere and serving fantastic drinks with genuine care and professionalism.
The resort itself is absolutely stunning. The lush tropical greenery, peaceful forest-like surroundings, and beautiful central water features create an atmosphere that feels calm, authentic, and luxurious all at once. The extensive use of natural wooden materials throughout the property gives the resort incredible character and blends perfectly with the environment.
One of the things we appreciated most was the resort’s strong eco-friendly philosophy. It was wonderful to see a conscious effort to reduce plastic usage and maintain sustainable practices without compromising guest comfort. The property feels deeply connected to nature and local culture.
Overall, Angkor Village Resort delivers a perfect balance of luxury, authenticity, sustainability, and heartfelt hospitality. The incredible team made our stay truly memorable, and we would highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Siem Reap. We would gladly return again.
Amazing hotel with incredibly friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and well-equipped. The team went above and beyond by providing us with an extra room for a late shower before our flight and accommodating our last-minute date changes and stay extension. The manager was especially helpful throughout. The location is perfect, just a few minutes' walk from the night market and city center. Highly recommended!
we liked everything literally!!
