A fabulous hotel in every way.
Pros:

We stayed here for 4 nights at the end of travelling around Vietnam and Cambodia for 3 weeks. This hotel was by far the best on every level. The staff are helpful and friendly, our room was spacious and comfortable and the restaurant food was delicious. It is within walking distance of the river, bars, restaurants and markets. We would stay here again if ever we had a chance to revisit this amazing country. Thank you for making our stay so memorable.

Cons:

Tout a été parfait !

Wonderful Hotel
Pros:

I came to Siem Reap in March 2026 only for a weekend while I was traveling around Cambodia. I enjoy staying at Hilton hotels, as it is usually my preferred hotel accommodation, and I am so glad I found the Angkor Village hotel! It was beautiful, clean, and the staff were all just so kind and made us feel at home the moment we arrived. The location is perfect to the old market and to other local restaurants and bars in the area. During our stay, we opted for the private temple tour, where we had our own car with a driver and private guide for the day. While I do not remember our drivers name (who was amazing) our tour guide, Mr. Sophal was a gem! If you go on a private tour, he is a must have guide! We also went to the Kulen Elephant forest which we were easily able to book through the front desk, and I cannot recommend that tour enough as well. If you are going to be in Siem Reap, I highly recommend the Angkor Village Hotel!

Great place to start and end our trip!
Pros:

We stayed here two nights at the start of our trip and one night at the end. Our small group was an organized tour (for birding) and we were driven here by a local driver, so I can't comment on convenience or ease of access. But the hotel itself was wonderful: quiet even well inside Siem Reap; huge, comfortable, and clean rooms; welcoming, helpful staff; and lovely (and tasty) dining experiences. Particularly after a hot, strenuous tour, coming back to the Angkor Village was such a pleasant experience!

This hotel is one of our all-time favorites both for accommodations and the wonderful staff.
Pros:

We have traveled a lot, and this is one of our favorite hotels we have ever stayed at not just because of the accommodations, but because of the gracious and thoughtful staff. Upon arrival we were greeted with the biggest smiles and provided a refreshing towel and lime iced tea. The hotel itself is in a calm oasis with beautiful plants and flowers tucked amongst the woodwork. We stayed for our honeymoon and the staff went out of their way to place flowers and champagne in our room on arrival. They even gifted us an arrival photo in a frame to keep. We scheduled an hour long couples massage, the ladies were professional and it was so relaxing. The breakfast was delicious. They had many options, including noodle soup, fruits, omelettes made your way, and the dining room is within a Lotus Pond decorated with woodcarvings. The staff event prepared a huge box lunch for us when we had to leave early for a tour.

Cons:

That we couldn’t stay longer

Tranquil Cambodian retreat in the heart of the city
Pros:

Beautiful, traditional-style hotel that really helped us feel immersed in Cambodian culture. A peaceful oasis in the centre of the city. Staff were warm, attentive and very knowledgeable, with excellent English. Room was well appointed, food excellent, and service consistently top notch.

Cons:

A couple of small practical points – no USB charging points in the room and the hairdryers felt quite outdated.

A Tranquil Retreat with Wonderful Cambodian Hospitality
Pros:

We stayed at the beautiful Angkor Village Hotel, which was a real oasis in the heart of the city. I had purposely chosen a more traditional-style hotel so we could feel immersed in the local culture, and it delivered exactly that.

The setting is tranquil and feels tucked away, yet still very central.

The staff were attentive and always seemed to be one step ahead of us. Their English was excellent and they were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful throughout our stay.

The room was very well appointed, the food was excellent, and the service consistently top notch. The only small thing is that I would recommend they upgrade the hairdryers and add USB points in the rooms.

A wonderful experience with genuinely warm Cambodian hospitality. It was a fantastic hotel and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.
