Finally, an ideal hotel
Pros:

I liked each and every aspect of staying in this hotel:
- location is great
- facility is new, rooms are comfortable
- rooms are trully sound-proofs and other guests behaved well
- there was an early bird eating option on site with normal, not absurd prices

Nice property, but clearer communication about guest benefits is needed.
Pros:

Clean rooms, good location, and friendly staff. The hotel itself was comfortable and the stay overall was pleasant.

Cons:

The communication regarding the Food & Beverage credit was unclear. I specifically asked both the front desk and restaurant staff and was told it would be automatically applied. The benefit card also did not mention any exclusion for breakfast on checkout day, which created confusion and disappointment.

Thoughtful and Helpful!
Pros:

Love Hyatt Olive 8 in Seattle. It's 2 minutes walk from Seattle convention center, and 2-5 minutes walk to a couple of very nice Chinese restaurants. Super convenient. The staff is very nice and helpful. The hotel is featured by its sustainable efforts with recyclable bottles and water dispensers which not only provide cold water with ice cubes, but also warm water and hot water! There is also a microwave oven in the lobby, very thoughtful! Swimming pool is very nice too! Very cost-effective. Definitely my favorite hotel in the US over the past 10 years.

Downtown conference winner!
Pros:

The location is perfect for visiting Pike Place Market and so many downtown restaurant and coffee shops within walking distance. The hotel bar/restaurant are lovely! Staff are friendly and I very much enjoyed my stay while I was in Seattle for a conference.

Cons:

We were told upon arrival that the pool was closed. It is an amazing pool and we carried swimwear on our plane. Notification before arrival would have been appreciated.

Comfortable rooms, great location and nice cocktails!
Pros:

Wanted to find a hotel near the Paramount theater and I usually have a good experience with the Hyatt properties, which are so close the Paramount and the Seattle Convention Center properties. Alex, the Friday night bartender at the Tidal bar, is always friendly and has an innovative cocktail to try, often from ingredients he's customized himself. One of my favorite places to stay in town.

Pros:

The hotel rooms, gym, pool and spa are excellent. Central location in city. However if booking through an agency or online booking service be aware that an additional Destination Fee of $29 per day plus tax may be added, this was NOT included for us when we were booking the hotel through booking.com and were informed of this additional fee when we checked in.
