Location and hotel were very nice. Easy walk to the train station and the market. Bed was nice and having two water bottles were great for the trip. Wish there were refill water stations on every floor
If you're looking for an excellent spa experience hotel in Seattle, this is it! Lap pool, hot tub, steam room, dry sauna , showers, lockers and all of the personal hygiene amenities. I scheduled a massage at the time of booking the reservation. Beds and rooms were very comfortable and very clean. Location is approximately a mile from the main tourist area, in a quieter neighborhood. Modern smaller hotel that makes you feel special!
I travel a lot. I stay at many mid range and nice hotels, of which this is one. My Valentine’s and my experience was terrible because we couldn’t get our car at checkout We were told we would have to wait almost 2 hours to pick up the car from the valet. Some poor people in the line had already waited over an hour. I decided not to wait and we went downtown on a rideshare, hung out at some great places at the Market. Then, we took the rideshare back to the hotel three hours later when we could get our car. I’ve never seen this level of extremely poor service.
You will hear everything. People entering, leaving their room. The fridge next to your bed. The road traffic. I suppose the spa was good. Too bad, I was here to sleep.
Location is everything with this hotel. Walking distance to restaurants, pier, Pike Street Market, shopping etc. This was the 2nd stay at the Hyatt at Olive 8 and this time around I was in Seattle for business. Staff is overly friendly and accommodating which is truly appreciated and refreshing! I would stay here over and over again!
They let me check in early, which made the whole day way easier after traveling. The staff were welcoming from the start and every time I came back. Always smiling, always friendly.
The location is perfect. It’s just a short walk to the Paramount Theatre, which was exactly why I booked it. I went to a show, came back late, and they still greeted me like I’d just arrived. That kind of energy makes a place feel safe and comfortable.
The room was super clean, the bed was comfortable, and the temperature control actually worked well. Everything felt well maintained and quiet, so I could relax when I needed to.
I was out and about most of the time exploring Seattle, but every time I entered or exited the building there was someone at the door. That extra presence made me feel safe, especially at night. Plus it’s close to a lot of tourist spots, shops, and food, so getting around was easy.
Wonderful hotel! Very kind staff. Clean & comfortable rooms & beds. Fantastic location. 2 minute walk to Paramount Theater. Very walkable area. Valet was great. We will be back!
This is a well-located hotel in downtown Seattle. We went to the Paramount Theater and then stayed at the Olive 8. They are blocks away. As it is in central Seattle, good dining is close regardless of which direction you walk. They also have a really nice lap pool and Jacuzzi.
I can't think of anything that I didn't like about the property.
Very comfortable and convenient to conference center, appreciated the sustainability efforts as well as being on the quiet floor as it was nice to be able to get work done.
I chose Hyatt at Olive 8 expecting a consistently high-quality, 5-star experience. Unfortunately, between the lack of thorough room cleanliness, an air-conditioning system that did not function properly despite a late-night service visit, and staff interactions that felt less welcoming than expected, the stay fell short of that standard. I appreciate the effort made to address the AC, but the unresolved issue and the timing of the service disrupted our ability to rest. I’m sharing this feedback in hopes it helps improve quality control and service consistency for future guests, and I would appreciate any follow-up you feel is appropriate.
It looks pretty
