We loved our stay! First, this place smells amazing. The room is small but very organized so it doesn’t feeeeel small. The bathroom was beautiful. They give you poker chips for the bar down stairs which basically gives you free coffee every morning. Super conveniently located near the A and C and the 1. Will definitely stay again!

Such a well-designed boutique hotel! The rooms were very up-to-date and chic, and exceptionally clean and comfortable. We had an interior room, so there was zero street noise. You could hear people walking in the hall, but that wasn’t a big deal.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. And the on-site cafe was perfect for our morning coffee and breakfast needs.

The hotel was on a street with multiple dining options and only a block from the subway station that got us to everywhere we needed to in the city.

We had a great stay and will definitely stay here again in the future!

Easy checkin and quite room.

The room was tiny and I traveled alone. No drawers for clothes. Hardly room for clothes for 5 days. Not enough room for cosmetic products in bathroom. Need a second shelf. Good for a night or two but no longer.

Personable staff, small room but efficient for a quick stay.

Rooms are small, but the staff and service were amazing. Tony and Lorenna made our stay extra special. Loved the cute lobby and cafe. The staff always greeted and welcomed us when we pass through. Would highly recommend staying here.

Great boutique hotel. The staff were very kind and accommodating. Given how noisy it is in NYC, the hotel was surprisingly quiet aside from cleaning staff doing their rounds.

The room was so small we had to climb over the bed to go to the bathroom. Like tiny and I am not new to NYC I have been going for 25 years. The wine bar that is so heavily advertised as a perk never opened to the public our whole 3 night stay. We were made aware there is no liquor license so we couldnt get a drink there anyway. Just strange series of events for a pretty pricey hotel.

It was amazing, front desk staff were always very helpful and friendly! Room is a bit small and not very comfortable but it has everything you need!

My boyfriend and I stayed here over Labor Day Weekend and had a spiral of bad experiences. The hotel is very aesthetic, which is why I booked it for our 1-year anniversary—we were willing to spend more for a nice stay. We arrived early from a red-eye, knowing our room wouldn’t be ready, but were told we’d get a text update in a couple of hours. No text came. At 2pm I called—they said 3pm. At 3pm I called again—they said another hour. At 4pm they pushed again. We adjusted our schedule multiple times since we couldn’t shower or get ready. At 4:45 we went to the desk only to be told the room had been ready since 3pm.

Sunday, we tried the rooftop wine bar that was promoted at check-in—it was closed. My boyfriend asked to use the tokens they gave us for a bottle of wine instead. Not allowed. He then asked to purchase multiple glasses at once. Declined.

Throughout the stay I developed small bites on my feet, which my boyfriend also got. Considering the room was dusty and not well-cleaned upon arrival, I suspect spider bites or bed bugs. One night we ordered Uber Eats, had it dropped at the front desk, but never received a call despite the app showing it was delivered.

Overall, we were disappointed—especially for a milestone trip. The only real positive is the location, with a subway stop nearby.

The Moore knows exactly what it is trying to do: understated elegance on a quiet street in Chelsea. It delivers everything you need from a stay in New York City!
