Friendly staff and were all ready to help whenever I needed. The room is small but doesn't feel crammed, so if you're considering getting a smaller room I was pleasantly surprised.
Bathroom is well equipped and good water pressure.
The pastries are really good! Highly recommend getting the pain au chocolat.
The surrounding area has great restaurant, bar and cafe options, so would recommend taking your time exploring as well.
The room cleaning was not consistent; towels and sheets were clean and changed according to your needs, but I felt like the floors and surfaces were not being swept/vacuumed (found dust and small debris even though they've been in my room for cleaning). As someone with allergic rhinitis I would've appreciate a bit more of care on that part. My suggestion is to specifically ask for it, I'm sure the staff will help on that.
Top Lage, sehr freundliches Personal ! Sehr gute Restaurant Empfehlungen ! Die Roof-Top Bar war sehr chillig !
Bfast muffin the staff !!!
Nothing
Great location, great view, comfy bed, very clean, great turn down service with small details to please guests, beautiful decor, nice breakfast bar and very nice staff and service.
Rooms are quite small.
Location
Very small room
Accueil chaleureux, c’est très propre et Simon le gérant est très dévoué et serviable!
Ce serait bien d’avoir un petit banc style pouf dans la chambre
Our first time to New York and The Moore was perfect! From the friendly staff to the fresh croissants and lattes. Clean and cozy, it couldn’t have been better!! We will be back!
I liked that it was clean
Way too dark- everywhere. Too dark in the elevator. Too many modern gadgets that older people may not be familiar with. For example, turning on the desk lamp, turning off the shower, finding the bathroom light switch- it's black like the tile and not a toggle switch.
Quiet hotel. Great location. Small but well designed rooms. Great staff. Robert at the front desk made us feel welcomed and was helpful. Will stay again.
Excellent location. Quiet street. Immaculately clean. Very friendly staff. Cafe/bar was great! Really comfy bed.
Very nice rooms, comfy bed, soft linens, high end feeling attention to detail. Quiet. Highly recommend.
I've been going to New York City for almost 30 years, and I am a Starwood/Bonvoy Titanium level member. I usually stay at the usual brand name spots, but then chose to explore and go to The Moore for this trip. This was first a great setup with the Chelsea location right off of 23rd Street Subway and also with the local restaurants, coffee shops, and other establishments. All the staff were great and accommodating, the tokens for amenities were a great idea and the other amenities were very welcomed. And the rooms, though a little small but again it is New York City, we're well done. It's certainly on my list for whenever I come back up to New York for both work and pleasure.
I've stayed three times at The Moore, and am a frequent solo traveler. It's in a quiet neighborhood, and the rooms are simple, clean, and elegant. What makes me return time and again are the staff--I don't know all of their names, but Tony and Simon have helped me the most. They are incredibly attentive, and manage a busy front desk with calmness and affability. They offer pastry and espresso drinks, and have a lovely lounge area if you are meeting friends. The front desk staff always greet everyone, and make an effort to get to know each guest. It's generally quiet, with an elevated yet friendly atmosphere. I will definitely be back!
This little GEM on the Westside is hidden on a corner of 8th Ave and 22nd is an exceptional value in a great location mideway between the Holland and Lincoln tunnel for those flying into Newark or using Penn Station. We often walk over to Flatiron District or down to the Chelsea market for dinner, but plenty of places nearby if you aren't into walking.
Hotels in NYC are small so if you are there as a couple use the larger room - I think it's called studio queen. But if you're just there for business, the smallest rooms are adequate.
For me the staff make the hotel. Wanna call out Tony, who made our first impression so positive and was so helpful! The hotel has a breakfast espresso bar, with pastries for purchase that will save you from leaving the building until your meeting. Part of the Marriott chain if you're collecting points! Great rates if you plan ahead.
Very nice upscale boutique hotel that is close to alot of attractions. The staff was great, especially Robert and Princesca. Very pleasant, very professional, I will be staying at the Moore the next time I'm in Manhattan!
First time at this great hotel! A hotel worth discovering.
We will definitely come back.
