Leonardo Boutique Hotel Rome Termini

We had a great stay at the boutique hotel easy walk from the main train terminal. All reception staff where all very nice especially Ricardo who we spoke to regularly, he gave good advice and nothing was a problem to sort for us in the hotel. The room was nice and comfy and very quiet good sleep. The amenities were good the sauna steam room and hot tub ideal after a days walking. My only gripe was our bathroom room was a bit tired looking and could do with a spruce up

I have to mention something strange that happened when we arrived at the hotel around 10:00 on Feb 15th.

We were told our room wasn’t ready, that’s fine. We were also told our room didn’t include breakfast. OK, I missed that but no big deal.

The receptionist asked if she could “get us a cup of coffee” while waiting for the attendant to stow our bags. Sure, thank you, black is fine.

A woman brought out a tray with two Americanos, all the cream/sweeteners, and two small croissants with silverware and a napkin.

I thought it was a nice gesture until when checking out found we had been charged a total of 12 euros. I inquired, the woman wasn’t working at that time, and they wouldn’t remove the charge.

I thought it was a rip-off as we could have purchased an entire breakfast spread for 12, maybe 15 euros instead of being charged 6 euros each ? We weren’t given the option either way.

Be very careful when dealing with this property. The room was just ok, very small, and you will walk from Termini several blocks on cracked and uneven sidewalks, then a staircase of 8+ steps upon arrival. No ramp, no offer to assist, even though my brother is 78 and hunched over with a bad back.

Question everything when staying here, or don’t stay here at all.

Wow, what a great small hotel, location was fab a few minutes walk to the Termini, close to loads of restaurants and small cafes.
Room was very clean and was serviced everyday if needed. Noise levels were not an issue, no road noise just a bit of corridor noise.The whole hotel was very well maintained and clean. It offered some leisure facilities so take your swim wear.
Breakfast was also great with plentiful choices.
The staff at this hotel all spoke English and Ricardo on reception was extremely helpful and always had a smile.
I would highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Rome and hope to return in the future. 5*

Excellent location near the main train station. We could walk to all the main city centre attractions, including the Colosseum etc. The hotel was small but very boutique and felt very personal, made more so by the very friendly and helpful reception staff. The room was small, but clean and well decorated with a boutique theme. I mentioned that the visit was for my partner’s birthday and they had hung a happy birthday banner over the window and written a lovely happy birthday card, along with a small bottle of Prosecco! 😁👍 Jacuzzi on the roof top was lovely and the gym and sauna area was impressive. All in all a lovely place to stay in the centre of Rome.

Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und gut.
Die Lage war für mich super man konnte alles vom Bahnhof erreichen.
Die Zimmer sind etwas klein aber ausreichend und sauber.
Gerne wieder.
