Great place to stay, clean, quiet and great staff
Staff pleasant, nice and quiet, good location. AC worked fine though I did not need it,shower with warm water.Whenever I needed a repair light or batteries maintenance fixed it prompyly. I hope they can find an owner for the small dining area and the bar/restaurant.

Dunn Inn is a beautiful place to stay with many fun activities and restaurants within walking distance. When I go back to San Jose I will be booking with them again.
Right across the street from a casino, had some food options near.. the bed was comfy however the room was small not enough space for 3 people but I made it happen. I recommend the hotel and would stay there again.
Great staff quiet property very comfortable
Noise. We couldn’t sleep due to an engine running all night on top of the hotel ceiling. It was like a generator.
There is not restaurant available at the hotel. When asking for dinners options they recommended places outside the hotel. There is a Casino in front of the hotel 24/7 open with lots of nighttime.
Parking is 2 blocks away
The restaurant was under renovation which was part of the reason we booked this hotel. Now we must make accommodations for dinner and breakfast. The neighborhood has lines of prostitutes.
This hotel is very charming. It's in walking distance to several historical sites. The staff is very friendly and accomodating of needs. The breakfast is basic but good. Rooms are big and the area is quiet. The only negative is that there aren't a lot of places to eat nearby for a quick bite. Overall good and safe area to stay.
Great location, centre of the city
There is always someone there for you. Everyone was so very nice. The food, breakfast and dinner was very good. Service was attentive and all were willing to help. Clean and comfortable. I have another reservation there next week for another couple of days. Thank you to them all.
Overall stay was fine, location is pretty good close to the central area. The best thing was the friendly and helpful staff. The room had a safe which was great, but generally the room and bathroom was very dated, definitely in need of a refresh

The hotel is excellent and the staff really helpful. Most of them speak english with ease.
I had to sort a few things out before the trip and they also responded to the messaging on the expedia app very quickly.
We had a spacious room and the whole hotel had a feeling of airiness and light with wide, tall hallways.
It's a converted 1929 mansion and has a great traditional feel, but also modern conveniences.
Just be aware that the hotel is about a 900m walk from the centre of the city and it's in a safe area. There are, I think 2, restaurants close by and the one in the hotel is good too.
We have a very comfortable stay with the Dunn Inn on our two day stop over in San Jose. We loved the history and the area was easy walking to downtown. Front desk staff was wonderful!
Lovely staff and rooms, clean and comfortable. Front desk helped us book a taxi to the airport. Unfortunately a bit loud outside, but otherwise it's a reasonably priced stay in San Jose.
In front there is a noisy casino and it is noisy until 5.00 am! Cars, scandal…
Very sad as the hotel was convenient.
