WE enjoyed the ambience of the Commodore and staff were very helpful
Pros:

We found the location excellent everything is so handy. Unfortunately we were very disappointed by the breakfast and decided not to eat there again for breakfast. The evening meal was good and so was the service.

Cons:

The breakfast menu was not comprehensive enough - choice was limited and descriptions vague.

Accueil très sympathique par un jeune français (corse), bonne communication et conseils. Très belle vue sur mer. Smart TV. Chambre confortable.

Cons:

Manque prises de courant. Trouvé plusieurs cheveux dans la literie et la salle de bain.

We loved being so close to the water, the beautiful view and the easy walk around the beautiful village.
Pros:

The location could not have been better, we could look at our windows to see the beautiful harbor and the lovely park right near the water. It was also a block away from the immigration, museum and close to lots of restaurants. This made it a perfect choice.

Cons:

This is something that cannot be helped, but the hotel is old and it definitely shows its age, even though it’s going through remodeling.

Lovely night away in Cobh in a gorgeous charming hotel.
Pros:

Staff were exceptionally friendly. Our room was beautifully clean and much larger than expected, it was our first time staying away with the baby and appreciated the space for the little one, plus a cot was provided and dressed ready for us on arrival. Loved the historic charm of the building. A drink on the rooftop watching the ships pass by was fabulous.

Cons:

Tricky place to navigate with a buggy due to stairs through the hallways, but we were informed of this well in advance as the hotel itself is a historic building.

Pros:

Its location is excellent. It's right beside everything you need and its only a 3 min stroll from the train station which is only 25min into cork city. The staff in the hotel were all amazing.

Cons:

Cobh can get very busy when there are 2 cruise ships in Dock. I would advise during cruise season to book restaurants ahead of time.
