What a beautiful location. Service was top notch and personal. I like the restaurant and bar on site. Very close to the airport and the shuttle service was great. My room was spotless and quiet. I will stay here again when I'm visiting Seattle.
We did not have breakfast, it’s a beautiful hotel with an overall cosy feel. Rooms were comfortable and it didn’t feel like an airport hotel at all.
We came at 9 pm and had to wait 35 mins for the shuttle bus after we called them, would recommend getting a taxi as it’s freezing and windy at pick up point
Normally I LOVE Cedarbrook Lodge - it is a great place to stay around airplane travel, but my latest experience there was traumatic.
I checked in late - around midnight after a late arrival at Sea-Tac thinking I would have the valet park my car and easily get to my room in the Alder wing. But alas, when I checked in I was advised the Lodge no longer offered valet service and I would have to park my car and , once parked, get myself and my luggage to my room - which was in the Spruce wing and a bit of a walk from the parking area.
OK - I got the car parked, but noticed a vehicle with a light on top was tracking me. Not knowing if it was a legitimate security service or not, I tried to call the Lodge to confirm that. However, the phone # on its website just took me to reservations which was closed for the night. Same with the number on my key envelope which took me to the restaurant which was also closed for the night.
So with no way to determine the legitimacy of this vehicle, I set my IPhone to call 911, got out of my car, and approached the vehicle - which turned out to be legitimate, but could not help me find my room or deal with my luggage. By now, it was 1 am and I was both fatigued and stressed by the situation I found myself in.
This was really an awful experience and convinced me that Cedarbrook is no longer the place to stay when I need a late check in. Of course, all this could have been avoided if the Lodge still had valet service and gave guests a 24 hour phone # to call for help.
* Be warned that the hottub allows children. There were 7 kids splashing and kicking in a small space. It was not a relaxing experience for an adult.
* The wifi "guest amenity" that we are charged for kept cutting out.
* There was a problem with the shuttle to the Amtrak station. The staff put me on the Cedarbrook shuttle to the Amtrak station. The driver gets about 8 blocks from the Cedarbrook lodge and then proceeds to tell me it is "not in his professional contract to drop me off at the Amtrak station, so he has to turn around and take me back to the Cedarbrook Lodge where they can order me a Lyft car ride instead." If I had been in a hurry to get to the train station, I would have been stressed out. It was a 20 minute waste of my time. I understand that it was a mix up on the hotel staff management's part, not the driver. However, the Cedarbrook staff should know better. If you are going to the Amtrak station, insist on a Lyft if the staff suggests otherwise. My suggestion to anyone using the Cedarbrook shuttle and Lyft system is to ask very insistantly if the transportation system they offer is correct per their contract with their transportation company.
The mini frig in my room sat on carpeting on the floor, so putting anything inside like a food to-go box unbalanced the mini frig and made a loud rattling and ringing sound because the wire frig racks were vibrating against the frig walls and motor. If this happens in your room, you might want to unplug the refrigerator to eliminate the loud sound. If the hotel were to place the mini frig on a secure, flat surface (not a plush carpet) they could probably stop this problem.

Close to the airport. Great bar downstairs and fun snacks.

I booked a last minute stay at Cedarbrook after some significant flight delays left me in Seattle for one night. I needed to book something quickly, and I'm so glad I found Cedarbrook! The property is beautiful and does not feel like it's right around the corner from the airport. Overhead plane noise was minimal, too, which is excellent. The room was extremely comfortable and I especially loved the complimentary ice cream in the common area - plus the other free goodies! Dinner at the Copperleaf restaurant was amazing. I had to leave very early the next morning at 2:30am, and was pleased to be able to book the shuttle ahead of time to ensure I made it to the airport on time. Even at the early (or very late) hour, the shuttle staff was incredibly friendly. Next time we visit Seattle, I would go out of my way to stay here again, even if just for another night!
The feeling that you were far removed from the city
The hotel was beautiful and we were very comfortable here! The food and drinks were excellent. We took advantage of the spa and found it relaxing and perfect. The location in SeaTac is perfect being so close to the airport but also very quiet and secluded. They offer a free shuttle to/from the airport! We had a car as we were visiting outside of the city and parking was easy and the fee per night was much lower than other hotels in the area with comparable amenities and ambience. They offer free snacks, even ice cream 24/7 and water (still and sparkling) in the building lounges. Something I forgot to bring was an umbrella, which came in handy as they offered these at entryways if you need to borrow one. The rooms were clean and comfortable.
The location close to SeaTac airport could not be better. The property is close but the noise of the airport is surprisingly low. The grounds are beautiful. The staff is professional and responsive. The shuttle comes when you need it not when the shuttle just happens to come by. The restaurant has good food.
Cannot think of anything I didn’t like. Would love to see some hiking or running trails as there is open space near by, don’t know if that is feasible though.
Clean modern hotel with comfortable rooms, pleasant lounge area with malted milk balls (very popular with kids), free flow sparkling water. Nice restaurant and bar. Location convenient to S Seattle, airport, and malls.
Great food and coffee. Friendly, professional service.
The location, setting and room comfort.
The room heater is noisy and difficult to regulate for warmth. The food has declined in Quality and preparation and is expensive.
Beautiful, modern and refreshing
