Not sure I would recommend coming back here again

The convenient location

Cons:

Tired, old, expensive put together patched up. It really didn’t feel clean. stains on the wall & carpets, hair in the bathroom, things feel grubby.

Location was great. Manager at night was ok. Rooms lights and bed size and mattress were good.

Cons:

Overall I was very disappointed with this hotel, I booked it for my elderly parents. The cleanliness of the room and carpets was well below an acceptable standard. The bathroom hose was blocked and when I reported the issue a few times, the manager informed us that no plumber was available over the weekend to address any maintenance problems. Unfortunately, the issue was still not resolved on Monday. Everything just felt dirty.

We had originally booked the hotel for three nights but decided to leave after two nights without requesting a refund for the unused night. The overall experience simply was not worth the amount we paid.

There are much better alternatives available that offer cleaner accommodations and more attentive service. One of the most frustrating aspects was the lack of staff presence at the front desk, often requiring guests to wait a long time before someone became available to assist.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend this hotel.

Hotel was great besides the noise
Pros:

Hotel was nice staff very friendly facilities were very good the hotel room had all the things needed and an ensuite location within walking distance of local shops the bus station and the train station

Cons:

Walls are very thin and have doors joining the rooms together that let alot of noise through can here every noise coming from the next room included bedroom activity noises the windows are very thin and close to the road so you can hear so can hear all traffic noise going past and it's very loud with all the noise me and my husband were up and down all through the night by the morning we were extremely tired with having broken sleep all through the night

Very nice place apart from no help with heavy cases and no lifts

No lifts and we were expected to carry 25 kilo cases upstairs! Luckily had a spare room downstairs but had to share a double bed with my friend!

Great 2 night stay
Pros:

Great location next to the river, walkable from the train station. Had an upstairs room with balcony which was ideal, good breakfast and very helful staff.

Rubbish virtually NO service
Pros:

Breakfast was way over priced for what was provided,Room size was good,Housekeeping was good if they ever came we stayed 8 nights they cleaned the room once.Location is good Hotel 1 star

Cons:

Lack of service,Staff couldn’t care less about anything,Bar staff rarely at the bar to actually serve and drinks so over priced.Cant eat ant bought in food anywhere on the premises and what you pay for at the premises is over priced and revolting
