Pleasant stay in a spacious room with large bathroom
Pros:

The room and bathroom were clean and spacious. Especially the bathroom - lots of space to move around. The decor was as expected, standard and dated. The room facilities were good; there was a coffee maker, mini-fridge, TV, etc. The staff was nice and accommodating when we asked to be placed away from the hockey team. The technician showed up very quickly to help reset tv that stopped working in the evening.

Cons:

The hotel does not care much about sustainability. Plastic drinking cups are packed in plastic (for sanitary reasons, I get it), same for the cups placed in the bathroom. Coffee mugs are standard paper/plastic mix. All that could be replaced by washable and reusable glass and porcelain glasses and mugs. There was a terrible stink coming out of the small cupboard between the desk and the mini-fridge. Like if something died or rotted inside.

Bed hot water fridge

Cons:

Unwelcoming guy at desk. Cold mechanical like he doesn't want to deal w people. Gave wrong info bout microwave and restaurant. No way find ng assistance or signs. Nothing welcoming perhaps just set up for noisy youth sports teams. Good parking. Will never return

Good stay
Pros:

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. We were able to check in early and check out late.
We were there with our hockey team, the boys had to wait a couple hours for check in but were still earlier than normal.
Beds were comfortable, rooms were a nice size.
Only downfall was workers that woke us up at 8:00am working outside of our window one morning.

great place to stay if you are not wanting to be downtown, which we did not.
Pros:

friendly staff, big room, fantastic bathroom with accessible shower, toiletries well stocked, big tv easy to use remote and very comfortable beds.
