Liked the location, staff were excellent. Very helpful and professional and we were greeted warmly with room ready well before check in time
Special mention to breakfast and bar staff. Very welcoming, knowledgeable about York and a credit to hotel. Breakfast was superb too!

Das Zimmer war großartig und sauber und d alles war liebevoll gestaltet. Die Dame am Empfang war sehr freundlich und wir hatten schon ein sehr gutes Gefühl beim Einchecken. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet und beim Abendessen wurden wir mit einem herrlichen Menü überrascht zu einem sehr guten Preis.

Room was very cold, took a few hours to resolve the heating issue.
We’ve passed the hotel many times on our trips to York and admired it. It did not disappoint! Lovely deluxe room with the bathroom on the mezzanine, very clean, great shower and bath products
The bed was very firm, I know this suits a lot of people but just a bit on the hard side for me.
