Great location comfy bed nice bathroom lovely staff
The rooms are a little dated now needs a refresh
Good location
Rooms were very clean
Very comfy beds
Breakfast was expensive and didn’t have baked beans
The fruit loaf was stale
Service at bar was not very quick. Didn’t seem to have enough staff
Excellent staff and location is perfect for exploring Harrogate.
The room we stayed in was dreary and drab and in desperate need of an update.
The bath tub/ bathroom.
Nothing
Always lovely and comfortable.
It was just a great hotel in a great location with friendly staff.
We could have stayed longer
The room was initially very hot as the radiators were on full blast and there was no temperature control. Once I found the controls the next day and turned these down it was much better. Shower was good but over the bath type which for older people can be hard but the hotel did supply bath mat which was great and the L'Occitane soap and shower products were nice. Beds were very comfortable and had 2 good night sleeps and the room was very clean. Breakfast however, I thought was overpriced. There was no baked beans and the fruit loaf bread I had was stale.
The service could of been better. There has been confusion with the bill and there always seemed to be a long wait at the bar for drinks. You also didn't get any nuts or nibbles with the drinks which for the prices I felt you should of done. It is a lovely hotel in a good location but I just feel there were a few things that could of been improved upon.
WHat a gem this hotel is. Will definetly go back
