Great place
Lovely hotel, great location, friendly staff,
A really beautiful hotel. Bubbles and breakfast is definitely the way ahead.
An amazing hotel staff were very helpful and customer service was excellent. Food was delicious. Location was amazing too right next to the lanes. Would recommend 😊
Very modern with an old feel, great staff and food. Wonderful customer service. I will stay there again.
The lady that checked me in was so friendly I’d had a bad day and someone stole my wallet & she gave me free champagne. The bed was very comfortable. It’s a bit of a maze getting around. But two staff members who be also very nice helped me. My restaurant experience was not great but everything else was.
Comfortable rooms and great food
Great location in the heart of the south lanes, top notch, friendly service, delicious food and stylish rooms.
Amazing weekend away at Hotel du Vin. The hotel had a warm and rustic feel to it, with a stunning outside seating area and clean feel throughout. Staff were incredibly polite and helpful, with the option to trade house keeping for a free drink instead a really nice touch. Will definitely be going back
Rooms were well equipped but a little tired in some ways. Balcony could be made a little more private but all in all comfortable stay
Great location, comfy bed, large shower in nice bathroom. Staff lovely. Breakfast cooked to order. More character than some larger hotels nearby but less facilities than some.
Fab hotel in a great location. Our room was spotless and the biggest bathroom ever! Great breakfast selection with attentive staff.
Good food in the restaurant
Relaxing bar and generally
From the moment we arrived we were made welcome. Shown to our lovely room with an enormous and extremely comfortable bed with fresh, crisp sheets
Lovely huge room
The hotel itself is lovely, I enjoyed hanging around at the bar and the staff were all really friendly. My room was tidy and well presented, but it was a bit on the small side. There was no wired internet port in the room, which was a bit of a bummer considering I had to work in the room a few times.
I will say I was worried about being adjacent to the courtyard but it turned out to not be a problem given how strict the hotel is with how late people can stay outside.
The aircon couldn't be put higher than 16, which was an odd choice.
I think the Du Vin is a great place to stay, but it can be a bit pricy for what it is.
Charming staff at reception
Deluxe room was great could not fault it
Fab bathroom and separate shower with l’occitaine toiletries which have at home
Plenty of towels, great shower and good to ward to brehave a coffee machine with great coffees
Nice light room in the tower - only thing missing a full length mirror
Apart from that could not fault
Delightful staff
Looking forward to breakfast tomorrow
If you can I would recommend staying here you will enjoy it!!!
I will def come again x
Good location , cocktails very good.
Room ok , shower was good.
Breakfast was nice , not worth £24!.
Hotel du Vin air con wasn't working in their last room, so they kindly took us to their Malmaison at Brighton Marina - which was great. Truly excellent customer service!
We’ve stayed many times at Hotel Du Vin Brighton and always enjoyed it. The staff continue to be excellent, going out of their way to be helpful, often unprompted.
However, considering how expensive the hotel has become, it could be said to be sitting on its laurels. Our room didn’t appear to have been refurbished for a long time. The room carpet was stained (probably not a good idea to have a plain pale brown carpet in a hotel room). The bathrobes had shrunk so much mine wouldn’t fit around me. You would expect better of a hotel charging around £100 a night, let alone one charging £300 for a Deluxe but still fairly small room!
Breakfast in the restaurant was excellent, then again at £24 ahead you would expect it to be. Dinner was only so so. And perhaps the lack of diners on the Thursday evening was indicative of the amount of good choice that people have in Brighton.
Finally, Parking has become a nightmare in Brighton. Local car parks are £40 for 24 hours. If you can, park outside Brighton and get the bus in, or use Just Park. I managed to find a spot 15 minutes walk away for £72 for the three days we were there.
