Location, quiet night, pleasant looking lobby and café. (Didn't purchase food or drink there)
Nice to have smart tv's in rooms to allow guests to use certain apps.

The staff was very friendly, nice, and accomadating. The front desk clerk was very helpful and kind as well as the morning cafe staff.

Good location

I stay here several times a year while visiting relatives. Pros are a good location, great staff at front desk and bistro. But issues with cleaning and maintenance are common, and the property isn't responsive when problems appear.
By the first morning of my most recent stay in early Jan 2026, multiple problems were evident:
>> The heating system was stuck at 74F – too warm for us! I could change the settings on the newish digital thermostat, but no adjustments had any effect on the actual functioning of the heating system.
>> There was no electrical outlet on the desk – no way at all to plug in a laptop. The place where an outlet should have been installed when the new desk was assembled was easy to see, but the assemblers hadn’t finished the job, and nobody had inspected their work and corrected the error.
>> The tub drained too slowly. Just needed some Drano.
>> No clothing hook on the inside of the bathroom door. The screw holes were there but no hook. The door had been recently painted but the coat hook had not been replaced.
On our way out for the day, I stopped at the desk and reported all these issues to the person on duty. She dutifully wrote everything down. The hotel had at least 10 full hours to correct at least some of these problems.
When we returned to our room that evening, care to guess how many of these things had been fixed?
Zero. Zip. None. Not a single one! Not even a note of apology. The management of the hotel simply ignored me.
The hotel was nearly empty, but stillwe were placed in a room that was plainly unready to be occupied.
If you plan to stay here, I strongly recommend you inspect the room carefully before you start to unpack. Demand another room if you find problems because they likely won’t fix them for you!

Clean, well-maintained, and staff was great.

The first room my wife and I were assigned to were disgustingly nasty. I never before experienced that level of filth at a hotel in my life and I'm a senior. The second room was just ok and the same for customer service.

As Courtyards go, this Amherst hotel is underwhelming - room was clean (stairways were not), price was fair, lobby was pleasant with a Starbucks that had limited hours. Served its purpose.

What a wonder 5 years anniversary stay we had. From Courtney at the front desk to Donna in the bar, Nick in the bar. I couldn't have asked for a better trip. All of our needs were meet, we are from Oklahoma, i asked Nick to watch the Sooners game and he made it happen. I made 3 new friends that i might never see again but will forever be in my heart! Thanks again Courtney, Nick, and Donna. The only reason i gave the 4 stars on the room is because the toilet ran all night. Other than that it would have been 5 stars all around.

This hotel is sandwiched between highways and is easy to miss if you are on the opposite side of the road, it has a strange parking entrance. The hotel is probably the least nice Courtyard by Marriot I have stayed at. The room was clean for the most part, but there were areas in the bathroom that had dirt and dust. The towels were old and rough. The shower curtain had a black stain across it, the bathtub had a dark ring. The sheets were not new or fresh looking. It was close (1-2 miles driving) to many places to eat and a Wegman's. No tea in the room, only coffee. I would not stay here again when I am in town.

location was close to airport, quiet & safe neighborhood, and convenient to the freeway. the room was spacious and clean. they were able to accommodate room near elevator and shower chair upon request since it was not busy there.

Clean room as described. Beds are comfortable however pillows are horrible! Also super loud vacuuming with the cleaning staff talking super loud in the morning at 7am!! Overall good stay decent staff and clean hotel!

Our room had a funky smell,
Bathroom was terrible. They had us in a handicap room, there was not a real shower and the sink was built for a wheel chair to go in. The mirrors were dirty and there was not a tall mirror or anything so that you could see yourself before you left the room. Also,
Wallpaper was peeling and the window would not shut all the way and screen was popped out. Not at all happy with the room based on what I paid for it. The staff was not that friendly, I asked for water and I was told to come back down later, meanwhile another couple walked up and were given two bottles.
