Comfortable and relaxing.
Pros:

Comfortable room and very clean. In a central location and provided respite from the wild weather. Restaurant was lovely and would recommend the monkfish and the cous cous salad it was delicious.

Pros:

Cons:

Cooked breakfast was, at best, luke-warm. No weetabix cereal option. Room was a bit 'tired', and expensive for what it was. The hotel didn't seem to know we were bringing a dog... we were charged an extra £15 a night (for a room which was already expensive).

Pros:

Lovely hotel.very clean. Bar and restaurant were great. A special mention must go to Gordon on reception for arranging our hotel room at the last minute for us.

Lovely stay on the whole but rooms not equipped for warm weather.
Pros:

Great location, friendly staff, great food!

Cons:

The weather was hot so the room was really uncomfortable and fans were unavailable at reception when asked for one.

-Zimmer war viel zu warm, keine Regulierung der Raumtemperatur möglich
-Dusche in der Badewanne mit Duschvorhang
-schwere Drehtür im Eingangsbereich
-insgesamt wenig komfortabel und in die Jahre gekommen

Incredibly comfortable Beds
Pros:

Great location, lovely hotel. Room was absolutely perfect. It was really clean, quiet and cosy. Customer Service was really good when I checked in and checked out.

The only thing I would say negatively is its quiet expensive for a Room Only basis. If they offered Corporate Rates I would come here every time I am working Stornoway.

Over-priced, uncomfortable night in a hotel where we certainly we not treated like guests.

The room was clean and the waiting staff in the restaurant in the evening were lovely.

Cons:

The room was soulless, it was very expensive and apparently we had been upgraded - I wouldn't have liked to have seen the room we were meant to get. The room was very hot, we had to have the window open and couldn't sleep due to the noise from outside. The view was onto a yard of old rusting cars. We had thought we had booked breakfast but apparently not - the man at reception was very unhelpful. I asked if we could have breakfast instead of the upgrade but he was not interested in my request. He told us our gripe was with booking.com and he was not able to help. His manner was awful.

The location of the property was good…just a minute’s walk into the forest.
It was also in close proximity to the town.

Cons:

Having to fight our way through the revolving doors with our suitcases which stuck as you pushed them was not the best start to our stay.
The room was reasonable but lacked a fridge and a safe, basics I would expect for the cost of the room.
The room was exceptionally warm and the steam from the kitchen coming past the window did not help.
Over our 3 night stay the room was barely cleaned and on our final day I had to ask at reception for the toilet to at least be cleaned. This was done.
