One night stay and staff were friendly and helpful
Pros:

The single room was very small and the bed exceptionally narrow. Certainly not suitable for anyone on the larger side. Lack of information in the room. Difficult to navigate as limited signage in corridors

Cons:

Property location was ideal

Would stay again.
Pros:

Decent room, well equipped, clean comfortable with en-suite. Breakfast included and very tasty indeed. Dog friendly rooms. Short work to Stornoway town centre, bit of a trek after 10 pints though haha!

Cons:

Main road a bit noisy but I’m a heavy sleeper. Room very warm even in January but able to open the window wide. Wouldn’t be nice in winter but I bet they have fans if you ask.

Perfectly passable
Pros:

Convenient location and clean room with modern bathroom

Cons:

Small room. Twin single beds both of which had very tired mattresses. Room was very hot on arrival and even with window open I struggled to cool it. Bathroom very small, but pleasant. Buffet dinner did not look at all appealing- I went elsewhere and found excellent local food.

Overall, the Caladh Inn is good value for money.
Pros:

The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast buffet was ample. The dinner menu offered a reasonable choice of meals.

Cons:

The reception wasn't manned at all times. Strangely, the bar didn't sell snacks such as crisps or nuts.

Unexpected stay, surprisingly great
Pros:

Great wee friendly hotel. Staff fantastic, facilities fantastic. I had to extend my stay due to snow & ferries. I asked about laundry, they didn’t have the facility, but told me where to go, afterwards I asked if there was an iron, I was told there was an iron & board in the wardrobe. The staff were brilliant couldn’t have been nicer, even scraped my car for me.
