Reluctant to return unless a complete overhaul of the fixtures, fitting and decor is undertaken.
Pros:

Location.

Cons:

Cleanliness, rooms carried sound, noisy neighbours. Breakfast selection was fewer than previous trip. Few moths in the room. Looked and felt scruffy.

Would return if in the area again
Pros:

Lovely spacious apartment, very light and airy. Nice views over the garden and surrounding area.
Comfortable bed.
Lots of storage and hanging space.
Well equipped kitchen, comfy sofa.
Good breakfast.
Free parking on site.
Beautiful grounds.
Great location for events at the Glasshouse.

Cons:

No door on the en-suite in the twin room, which could be a problem if more than two people in the flat.
Hot water is slightly temperamental in the bath (the shower is electric in the other bathroom so no problem with that).

Mum and daughter time
Pros:

The food was really good and plenty of it. We had breakfast

Cons:

When we got there we were a bit disappointed with our room. It was in the annexe facing a wall and the car park. The window looked straight at the wall. We went to put our clothes away and found a pair of knickers in the drawer. We told the girl on reception who found it hilarious and so did the other staff. To be fair they offered to reclean the room, but, it was clean apart from that. Beds were very hard and room needed updating really. We could hear the people upstairs walking about as the floor squeaked terrible. It kept me awake one night as they seemed to be walking about most of the night. Location was good. Inside the main building was nice, you could sit on the terrace.

My second visit, could be a wonderful destination.
Pros:

A good location. Lovely grounds. Quite position

Cons:

Two rooms were booked. We should have been told that one of the rooms was up a very narrow flight of stairs in the roof space. No restaurant facilities on arrival, after a six hour drive we had to go out for a meal. Improvements in the decoration were being made but, in the breakfast room why paint all the windows so they can never be opened. Very poor workmanship.
