Old style spa hotel which has been up graded really well with high quality decor and fittings. Staff, rooms and catering were absolutely first class. There was a large coach party staying at the same time as us but they dined in a separate room and were very discrete. There was no noise at all during the evening / night. Only issue was parking. The car park is small and irregular shaped without any defined bays. You have to park where you can find a space. Whilst we were there a number of external meetings were held in the hotel during the day and delegates and guests had to park in the very narrow private road leading up to the hotel. This required a manoeuvre in a limited space. It may be worth checking if there is a wedding on when booking. A top class hotel, highly recommended and we would stay there again.
Enjoyed our stay very much, Stayed in superior room overlooking gardens and Morecambe bay, bathroom was a nice size, we stayed BB&D, meals were very good and tasty, we enjoyed what we had.
Staff where very helpful, friendly and efficient.
Grange over sands such a lovely town had a promenade running alongside bay we had great weather too which always helps we sat in the gardens in the sunshine.
So Bathroom yes was nice but no shelves in there for cosmetics, shower had no shelf for shampoo and soap so come on Grange fix the problem, also car park is very small a struggle for parking spaces other than that we loved it.
DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL UNDER ANY COST!!!! Booked a room through booking.com and they had a ghost booking which was not on my app and they charged me a cancellation charge as they checked me into the ghost booking and not the actual one, scam if ever i see one!!! The hotel is dated and the food was bad to the point where we did not eat it and went out and got fish and chips. Rooms need updating avoid all cost like a old peoples home!!!
Nice breakfast. Only issue was lack of parking, which is not ideal when weather rainy.
The hotel decor was beautiful and the food was nice.
The sauna wasn’t working and the grounds look a bit untidy.
Amazing good and variety
putting us in a room above the disco down stairs below us. Went to bed at 10 o'clock music stopped banging at 1.30 in the morning.
Fabulous hotel - staff, food, room & leisure facilities all wonderful - highly recommend
Fantastic, we loved this place, large beautiful room, first class breakfast and just a short walk into town. We would definitely stay here again.
Very nice old hotel but had an excellent refurbishment, very good friendly staff, excellent food and facilities.
Parking a little bit tight sometimes.
Loved all.. just one tiny detail the water was chilly not hot when you showered, apart from that everything was lovely.
This place just gets better and better they have an excellent hardworking team, very friendly and co-operative. The evening meal was excellent and professionally served the first night with Olga who always sets such a high standard of service in the restaurant, the second night by an equally personable waitress. On the second night I was concerned that there might be long delays in getting served when a coach load of 50 people arrived for dinner. It made absolutely no difference we had prompt service and the standard of the food served was equally good as it was on the first night. The whole place has now been tastefully modernised, and looks stunning
Beautiful building and surroundings that has been refurbished since our last visit. Nice swimming pool and small steam room. The 3 course evening dinner was excellent. The staff in general were very friendly and professional particularly on reception and waiting staff at dinner.
Very big, comfortable and clean room
The facilities need improvement and the common places such as corridors were dirty . The first day we wanted to use the spa area and were told that towels will be provided. However towels have run out and could not find anyone in the spa area to request clean towels. The second night our card key was not working. The staff opened our door with the master key and did not give us a new key - we were told if we need to go out of the room to call the reception.

This was our 3rd stay at the grange, excellent, love it, can't wait to go back, only small moan, car park is not good, got locked in by car parking in front of me,couldn't get out easily, but,one of the staff got me out,so grateful, but inconsiderate parking by the driver
Excellent location and facilities. Staff very friendly and helpful. 3course evening meal was superb.
A beautiful town. I was very impressed and delighted by the brass band performance in the garden near the hotel. I also enjoyed strolling along the promenade. The hotel staff were welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help. I'd especially like to commend the waitress Olga for her dedication, attentiveness, and warmth. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Lake District.
I would like to have a small refrigerator in the room.
This was our return visit as before it was excellent. We even got the same room, the refurbishment was great but it was a windy night and the window in the bedroom was banging. Evening bar meal was great and the service 5*. Breakfast was terrible, there was a coach tour and they were obviously priority!. Seated and went to get some toast, no butter, I was given 2 frozen scraps and would not even spread on the now cold toast. Tea and coffee was brought and no milk, went to find a jug, none. Finally got some, then there was no orange juice, it just got better and better. The actual Breakfast was enjoyed though. Shame about the service this time as previously it has been amazing.
