Pros:

The food was nice, staff were welcoming but not super helpful. Decor was pretty but not well done as it already looks worn.

Cons:

On arrival the door didn't lock, we had to go down to reception with an unlocked room to get it sorted. The toilet in our room didn't flush properly, heavily water damanged skirting board in the bathroom, the curtains had tea stains all over them, no back to the remote and carpet stained.

Communal facilities; there were mould and water stains in most corridors, the pool and spa facilities don't meet a 4 star standard. The sauna max would comfortably fit 3 people and the steam is 2 people absolute max, the lockers had no keys to put your stuff in and there was no one else in the facilities (ladies), the locker doors were broken (mens). The spa area was very dated.

Breakfast on the whole was lovely, the orange juice when topped up was fermented.

Fantastic staff, good food and wine and a friendly atmosphere. Great location across from the station.

Cons:

At Breakfast i asked for a Soya milk Latte as i have Dairy allergies, the waitress said of course, then asked the Blonde girl to make the Latte she said tell them we dont have time shell have to have a regular although i heard her. The waitress had to come and apologise. 15 mins later the coffee arrived- tasted like no coffee was added and it was luke warm. The lady was incredibly rude and for that reason to be honest i probably wouldnt travel back.

Good stay in a nice hotel
Pros:

Really spacious room, with even an unexpected TV/sofa room! The dinner was excellent, and the restaurant staff were really friendly. The hotel looks like it's been renovated recently and the art deco vibe is quite stylish. The location was super convenient, we made our train within 5min of leaving the room.

Cons:

Checkin was late because the rooms were not ready (not just ours, everyone's). The level of chlorine in the spa was literally eye-watering, we still can't take the smell off our swimsuits. Breakfast was ok but very messy, coffee was not good, from machines which kept needing servicing. All in all, it's a good hotel but wants to be grander than it really is.

Pros:

Room very nice mattress very soft 2 nights enough room layout could be improved with a couple of comfy sofas

Excellent facilities and location.
Pros:

Room was enormous. Very comfy bed. Two televisions! Lovely en-suite. Beautiful location. Dinner in the restaurant was nice; the main course was pleasant enough but the dessert was to die for. I enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi.

Lovely stay, 100% is up there for one of our favourites and we will be back, we got a suite and it was big, clean with

Really clean, friendly staff, we got a Suite and it was amazing, the bed was very comfy, shower is powerful and the room was very spacious

The restaurant is good, we enjoyed the steak and wine !!

Cons:

Leisure / pool area could be doing with refurb as it’s outdated and is odd out to the rest of the hotel

Also maybe add a chicken starter to the menu in the restaurant as I thought for me it was either seafood or bread and sometimes it’s nice to have something else to offer 😃
