The room was small and windows were facing out to an internal gallery where there was NO fresh air circulating and the weather was very warm. We sadly had an uncomfortable stay in our room

The room 210 was above 36 degrees for the whole 2 nights fan did not do anything was severely dehydrated and tired when got back as was unable to sleep due to intense heat and sweating constantly

Beautiful old hotel, nicely done out, spotlessly clean, Junior suite fabulous

Cons:

Breakfast wasn't great. I think they were short staffed, and we went down to Breakfast immediately after a large coach party had been in for Breakfast- so was a bit chaotic- but staff did their best. Smoked haddock at breakfast wasn't good, too over cooked to eat. How ever continental breakfast etc was fine.

Pros:

Beautiful accommodation. Rooms were excellent and staff very friendly.

Cons:

The food in the restaurant was less than average. They did issue us with a refund for the dish that was very poor. Did not spoil the visit.

Pros:

The location was fantastic the staff was brilliant especially Chloe who made us feel very comfortable and couldn’t do enough for us the food was great .

Cons:

The spa facilities are pretty basic and the treatments weren’t the best the masseuse didn’t really know how to massage and just tickled over your body rather than working the knots

Fantastic at dealing with Food Allergies
Pros:

My daughter visited The Grange Hotel for a formal event to celebrate finishing A-levels and had a 3 course meal. She has severe food allergies. Graham, Executive Chef, went out of his way to ensure all 3 courses met our requirements. He was flexible with food options and offered reassurance about the kitchens policies in dealing with allergies. My daughter had a wonderful meal and evening. Thank you Graham and team.

Health and safety issue,
Pros:

Room 212,
On arrival,fan on ,doors open very hot,NO air..
Having asthma,i struggled to breathe.

This was an "internal "view room overlooking a room across the gap of max 6foot, no air flow or windows to fresh air.
A fan 1 foot from my pillow,whirring all night.
I asked the manager to assist with my
Chest issue...the response purely selfish and evil.
I could upgrade to penthouse for an extra £150.00..i refused out of principal,found alternative hotel
.MySELF, and told him his lack of care and concern beyond belief.
