The Manor Hotel

Worst hotel experience during our 8 night tour of Maharashtra. Hotel was booked by our tour operator. Initially told payment not received. After contacting tour operator, room was allocated. Got out of lift noticed the hallway wasn't that clean, windows were dirty. Entered the room number 208 and it certainly did not look like an executive room, stains on the wall, bedsheet looked old. Entered the bathroom & all the taps looked old fashioned, stained. When tried to turn on the sink tap, it was so loose the it wouldn't turn on.
Complained to the tour operator to speak to hotel for room change.
After returning from lunch told reception that tour operator contacted hotel for room change.
The receptionist said the loose tap has been repaired. I insisted on room change.
We were given alternative Executive room 203 and the photo images shows the extent of total disrepair of the bathroom, stains on bedroom walls, couldn't sleep as the ceiling fan making noise even at low speed at night.
In the morning went to have a shower and it wouldn't work.
Went down to have breakfast and the hall appeared semi dark. Food choice wasn't great either. Ordered masala dosa and dosa was soft instead of crispy. My wife noticed baby cockroaches on table and that put both of us off from eating there again.
In all our many years of world travel this was our worst experience stay in a hotel.
The pictures of hotel on websites paints a different picture to that in reality what we experienced.
It was pointless to contact the tour operator for another room change as the others would turn out to be same.
I later learned from some people that rooms on floor 3 has been refurbished and soon rooms on floor 2 and 1 to undergo the same.

I have stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and trust me the level of service I have got in this hotel was excellent. I appreciate the staff how they are talking care of there. They take care of you so much during your stay that is commendable. I had lovely stay thank you so guys for everything I had a lovely stay in your hotel. Special thanks to Mr Sunil Mukherjee because of him the service level is excellent in this hotel. Keep it up guys, I will definitely come and stay in this next time. I recommend this hotel to all it's the best!!!

We had visitor Aurangabad as tourists and decided on this hotel as our stay option. We booked the hotel online at a travel portal. The hotel is located on a wide road and is easy to fine.
The hotel building looks decent and has a sufficient parking. Our check in was smooth and hassle free. We had booked the room for 3 adults and initially a smaller room was allotted to us but on requesting we were transferred to a relatively spacious room.
The room, the fittings and the furnishing were all good but some how lacked classiness. There were small warms in the bathroom on the soggy wooden surfaces, which we noticed on the day of check out.
The room service was quick and to the point. The front desk staff was friendly but mostly being from other towns were not well informed about the local tourist attractions, except for one.
The breakfast was buffet type and the spread was better than expected.
This is not among the top notch hotels in Aurangabad, however, it served our purpose well.

Great hospitality n care demonstrated by entire hotel staff. Breakfast menu has good spread.

Hi, Today I was in Aurngabad booked hotel Manor Aurangabad through Agoda, got confirmation and paid the money.. reached hotel Manor only to realize hotel have cancelled the booking without any information. Top of it the manager was so rude don't even want to listen anything stating you booked through Agoda so we are not responsible, how cheap it can be knowing it is already late evening and we have elderly parents with us, there was no courtesy extended, I strongly recommend to boycott hotels like Manor whose staffs are not even trained how to handle guests extremely unprofessional.When we called Agoda they said they don't know about cancellation.. Hotel said they have stopped taking Agoda booking now stranded in Aurngabad with elderly parents.. This is how online platform and aggregators deal among themselves and ultimately travellers suffer. There is no courtesy calls given to me neither Agoda bother to inform.. boycott such platform Agoda and hotels like Manor in Aurngabad who do not bother to honor booking..## boycott Agoda ## Boycott hotel Manor

Beware - not a professional place. If you can tolerate un-professionalism, then go ahead.

If you are a solo-traveler you would be given a make-shift room., extremely small in size. The front desk has no manners on communicating with the guests. There is hardly any support staff around and room service takes forever.

The lady who was taking room service orders or the lady at the front-desk need major communication lessons. They don't give GST invoice, unless you really press for it. This is illegal !

The only good thing is the location and food. It all ends there. All a downward journey from there on.

Specially Ms.vrushali. Her welcome made us happy. Room and service was good. will must visit The Monor very soon.
Hope next time rooms should be more attractive. Should be renovate it.

After a tiring drive from pune I setteled to break down journey at Aurangabad Hotel The Manor stands out for its neat hospitality at first. But then I would strongly recommend the fingure licking delicacies and food they serves. The hotel takes care of every single detail of your requirments. Overall a very satisfying stay.
