Ole Bull, Best Western Signature Collection

The room wasn’t set up for all 4 of us at arrival, but service was prompt and friendly to resolve that small problem. Walkable location.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, was about a ten minute walk to most everything. Our toddler loved it there. Clean but also cozy and comfortable. Would stay there again.

Well located, good proximity to transportation, dining, activities, spacious rooms, full kitchen. Very nice stay.

Friendly staff, we got an upgrade, very clean and spacious. Great location, 5 m. walk to tram to airport and very close to main train station. Many restaurants options in the neighborhood and right by the fish market.

As a couple with an 18 month old toddler we had a good 2 night stay at the Ole Bull. It’s in such a great location, with many points of interest within walking distance. We requested a cot when booking and it was ready in our room upon arrival. Our room was a good size and the main living area was modern. There were good amenities in the kitchen and having the ability to screencast on the TV was ideal. There are also self-serve laundry facilities for a small fee which was fantastic to have as we had a short stop on a long trip. We found the staff at the hotel to be friendly and helpful.
However, we found the apartment to be incredibly dark and was not as clean as we would have liked it to have been, with a lot of dust and crumbs in the fridge. The sofa was incredibly uncomfortable - definitely more style over substance. We had seen other reviews about noise levels of the nightclub over the weekend and although we did not experience this (Sunday and Monday stay) we experienced a lot of noise from other guests with children running around our floor screaming and shouting for long periods of time after 9pm both nights - a real issue when you have a little one in bed.

Nice central location. However our room faced the Main Street and the bars were open until 2:00am on a weekday making for loud voices and music. Overall, it was a good stay and Bergen is beautiful!

Large room, great walkable location. however there is no way to adjust the temperature in the room. Also, the shower drain doesnt work well and gets the whole bathroom floor wet. Also, no vent in shower. I would not stay here again.

Wonderful customer service and family friendly. Highly recommend for anyone looking for service apartments with kitchen.

We stayed at Ole Bull and found the location absolutely excellent — just a short walk to the shopping centre, Bryggen market, and many other attractions. Our room on the third floor was very comfortable, with a good-sized TV and Chromecast option. We also appreciated the laundry facility, which was very handy during our trip.

The only downside was the noise outside late at night (until around 4 a.m.), with loud music and people shouting, singing, and partying — understandable as it’s right in the city centre near pubs, but worth noting for light sleepers. Overall, a great stay if you value location and convenience and don’t mind a lively nightlife atmosphere outside.

Great location in Bergen and convenient for shops and restaurants

We stayed in an apartment which was excellent on so many levels, especially its location to local sights and transport; nothing was more than 10 minutes walk. Large clean rooms, excellent shower, Rituals amenities. Fabulous kitchenette. Nice clean furniture and wardrobes. Friendly staff. The only thing that was negative was the noise from the nightlife that went on outside at weekends until 3:30am. Must have bars and clubs in the road, the music, chatter and glass bottles being thrown in a bottle bank every hour or so was very loud. We’re not prudes but when you’re trying to sleep it’s hard. It was also the same on Thursday night, although Sunday and Monday were quiet. Don’t know about Tues or Weds. Maybe it’s weekends only. Shutting the windows did dampen the noise but as it was (unusually) warm whilst we were there, we had to have them open as no air con (I assume not usually needed in Norway). The helpful staff gave us a desk fan when I asked. I am a light sleeper so unfortunately had no sleep the first few nights. I’d say take ear plugs and ask for a fan. Perhaps the bars don’t stay open like this past the summer months. It’s such a lovely convenient hotel/apartments that it’s definitely worth checking as it may be quieter other times of the year.

Great location, everything is accessible by foot. The challenge is loud music from clubs (?) well into the night, until 2 am or so - if you’re a light sleeper, it could wake you up. Still, I would stay there again any time.

Amazing staff and location

Great location and very walkable plus lots of dining options. Very close to tram and busses and about a 10 min walk from train station.
Hotel room/apartment was nicely decorated and comfortable. Good space for bed areas. A little tight to use the kitchen in the room so we didn’t end up cooking in the room as it was too close to the bed area. Friendly check in staff, just odd that reception was closed sometimes. Didn’t affect us though.

Great location, walking distance to major attractions in the city. The room we stayed at had no AC, it was very challenging at night in middle of July. For that I’m taking a star away. There were plates and cookware in the room. And there were several groceries nearby!

With no AC, we had to keep the windows open. It was very loud with people partying into the early morning.

A bit noisy at night because of the bars/pubs nearby

Great little room on the 8th floor. Very cozy and comfortable. Only issue was the volume from the dance club on the street and rooftop bar. If you have trouble sleeping with a lot of background noise, this particular room could be a challenge.
