Lovely, spacious, great location, great vicinity to the subway.
Pros:

Location, cleaning staff were so lovely, received a welcome bottle of wine, bed was super comfie, room was spacious, nice big bathroom, right next to the subway.

Cons:

To be honest other all of the things were good but giving the expired snacks to customers that was tough for us.

Smyth offers wonderfully big room (palatial by NYC standard) and with a couple minor tweaks, it would be perfect!
Pros:

The room was nice and spacious, the bed was nice and firm. The ample hooks and railings in the bathroom were nice and thoughtful touches.

Cons:

The shower flooded the bathroom every time we shower.
And additionally the room was quite dark and could use an extra lamp or ceiling light near the mirror

Wonderful Customer Service
Pros:

The hotel itself is lovely and in a great location in Tribeca—walkable, quiet, and convenient while still feeling tucked away from the chaos of the city.

We chose a room with a balcony/patio, which was a nice feature to have. That said, because of that room type, the room itself was quite small, with just enough space for a queen bed. It’s something to keep in mind if you value extra room space over outdoor access. On the plus side, the bathroom was surprisingly large, very clean, and beautifully done, which made a big difference in overall comfort.

What truly made this stay exceptional was the service. Qualeemah (Bella) went above and beyond to help me make my partner’s 50th birthday—on New Year’s Eve—really special. Her communication in advance was excellent, and she was incredibly helpful in coordinating room decorations and details. That level of care and attentiveness made the experience memorable and personal.

I would absolutely return to this hotel if I’m staying in Tribeca again, and I’d happily recommend it—especially for anyone celebrating a special occasion and looking for thoughtful, standout service.

Great Stay in Tribeca
Pros:

Location was perfect for Tribeca. Lots of restaurants and stores nearby. Easy access to other parts of the city and to Brooklyn.

Cons:

The room was tiny and because we wanted the patio, it only came with a queen bed. Bathroom was lovely and large though.
