Smyth Tribeca

Wonderful stay in Tribeca! The location is perfect and close to so many great spots. The staff was amazing and made our experience truly memorable. If you stay here, it’s a must to try Bubby’s for breakfast—you won’t be disappointed!

A special thank you to Xavier, who provided outstanding accommodations and made my husband and me feel right at home from the moment we arrived. His hospitality went above and beyond. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Tribeca!

The good - nice staff. Good rooms near 911 museum. Nice breakfast but not cheap.

The bad - I was given a key card to an occupied room. I entered the room not knowing that the room was occupied. The guest had left their bag open and items out. I did touch the guests bags. I would hate to think that this could happen to me (someone given key to my room). Secondly, I was charged the deposit twice. Once for the occupied room and once for the new room. No receipt was ever given. When I checked out, they were unable to give me a bill to sign as the charges had not been updated. I have to hope that all of my money comes back to my credit card minus the breakfast. I am also annoyed as I now have to wait for both deposits to come back - this means less spending money on my credit card.

Great atmosphere, excellent staff, great location

The room was quite small, but the balcony was really lovely and made it feel much larger. Great outdoor space. Great view. Bed was very comfortable. Staff was super helpful and extremely friendly and took care of any needs I had. The location is great and incredibly convenient. The hotel was also very quiet. In my room you couldn't hear noise from outside / the street or from other rooms which was great.

First time staying at the Smyth Tribeca, comfortable rooms, beautiful views, courteous and attentive staff. We added an extra night and enjoyed a three night stay. Every request was met with enthusiasm, staff was quick to respond, helpful in recommendations for dining, and knowledgeable about the events in town.

LOVE this hotel. The staff are so nice and so helpful. I stayed a week and REALLY felt taken care of. Loved the location. Spacious quiet rooms. Reasonably priced. Will recc to friends and will definitely stay again. Only wish I had found it sooner.

We had a great stay at the Smyth in September i really appreciated Xavier helping us with everything we needed to have a pleasant time.

Hidden gem in Tribeca .. staff extremely attentive especially Jonny grafting on the night shift .. great spot for food in the Smyth Tavern .. fantastic complimentary coffee served all morning for guests .. I highly recommend this spot

Perfectly nice hotel in a fantastic location. Rooms are a great size for NYC, but expect noisy nights - I moved to room 305 which was much quieter than the Chambers St-facing rooms.

Generally enjoyed my stay and would return (as it's a work-recommended hotel), however, communication with the team post my visit was poor. I had to email several times to get the final invoice, which was incorrect with mini bar charges. I asked these to be removed, and I was simply ignored ... get your bill as you check out and check it!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Big clean rooms that were recently renovated. Great location. Smythe Tribeca helped make our family vacation amazing! Highly recommended and I will stay here again guaranteed.

Amisha who checked me in was amazing, very helpful and always smiling/happy. The entire staff from the doormen to the front desk were extremely pleasant and attentive.

The service at the Smyth Hotel was simply fantastic. Every detail was handled with care, and the overall experience exceeded expectations.
