Smyth Tribeca

I was disappointed by my stay this property is not well maintained. My room very spacious but it was desperately in need of maintenance. There was paint peeling from the ceiling, broken floors duck-taped together. Other flooring that was completely scratched up and discolored. Chunks missing from the wallpaper. Saggy mattress. Dingy hallway with dirty carpet. On a positive note, the lounge and restaurant downstairs were both nice and the staff seemed friendly.

Location top notch, lots of good eats

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Smyth Tribeca! We were initially in a lower room facing the street which was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. There was a temporary metal plate on the pavement resulting in loud noise when cars drove over it. It was difficult to sleep with this noise, even with a fan for white noise, so we spoke to Eduardo at the front desk about switching rooms. He was extremely nice and accommodating. He relocated us to an interior facing jr suite. Again it was a beautiful room, very quiet and comfortable. The hotel is spotless. It’s in the best location with a train station right outside the front door. Lots of restaurants to choose from all within easy walking distance. The highlight, though, was Eduardo!

Very clean hotel that’s well located to restaurants and the subway. People are very friendly, and Ivy did a great job job of cleaning our room. The marble bathrooms are gorgeous. One suggestion would be to use more light in the room. Even with lamps, it’s dark at night.

The hotel is under renovation so there is noise depending o your floor. The staff is very helpful and cheerful. Great location. We had one of the newly renovated rooms and it was very nice. Higher floors recommended. Will want to come back after renovations to see finalized product. Should be very nice.

My stay at The Smyth was truly unforgettable. From my bridal shower through our wedding stay, everything was seamless, elegant, and so special. The staff went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect, and their warmth and professionalism did not go unnoticed during such an important time in my life.

The rooms were beautiful, comfortable, and the perfect space to get ready and celebrate. It created such a calm yet luxurious atmosphere for all the excitement of the weekend. My guests and I felt so well taken care of from start to finish.

Closeness to subway

Location, cleaning staff were so lovely, received a welcome bottle of wine, bed was super comfie, room was spacious, nice big bathroom, right next to the subway.

The room was nice and spacious, the bed was nice and firm. The ample hooks and railings in the bathroom were nice and thoughtful touches.

For one night + valet fee we have paid $450 and they gave us expired snacks. It is unbelievable. When we got the home, we noticed that it is expired. Do not eat or drink anything in the room. To be honest other all of the things were good but giving the expired snacks to customers that was tough for us.
