Great value, exceptional staff.
Pros:

Loved the room, the friendliness of the staff, the daily free infused water and coffee, bar staff was great, lots of surrounding options and vibrant atmosphere. Parking is also a plus. Front desk also gave us a complimentary bottle of wine!

Cons:

Breakfast was just decent. If they’re going to charge for it they should put a bit more effort into the flavor and hotness. Fruit and yogurt and other cold options were great. Room should come with shower cap but you probably have to request one from housekeeping or front desk which I didnt.

It was a very beautiful hotel and the room was very comfortable and the room was quiet so that was nice.
Pros:

It was very beautiful and the staff were amazing

Cons:

You are located by many different restaurants and there is no microwave and when I asked for one it took 20 minutes to get one i didn’t quite understand that but then the walk to get to the room was a bit crazy considering the skywalk was closed.

Most miserable memorable NYE?NYD of our life i will never be back.
Pros:

My review have been added to Google & Expedia I will also be posting on Reddit yahoo and every other social media. I have informed all our travel groups and also my travel agents friends we have provided pictures there was even a a large spill on the elevator and i almost fell twisted my ankle a bit and i went to tell the receptionist and she replied with oh yeah the spill let me get someone to come clean it up i even told her about me almost hurting myself and she just blew me off and walked away from me. Not a care whats so ever they all just looked my special needs family like they didnt belong very discriminating.

Staycation with family
Pros:

Stayed at The Moran on a staycation with my family during winter break and we lived this place! Room was clean and well taken care of, the breakfast at the cafe was excellent! My daughters loved the waffles and I enjoyed the well made drinks at the bar! Will definitely return soon!

Houston Staycation
Pros:

Exceptional hotel with great dining amenities and service, valet was professional as well as staff and hospitality. Rooms were well stocked on my 2 stays, and accommodations were top notch. They really make you enjoy your stay from the complimentary bucket of Red Bull (I’m a Max verstappen fan) to the delicious breakfast the folllowing morning. Don’t hesitate to order room service because the house made chicken fried steak is top tier.

The Moran is a beautiful property with massive rooms super comfortable and your surrounded by some really awesome restaurants and shopping.

We live in Houston but we come and stay here because it is our place to just get away for a day or two.

The Moran was a lively way to spend Christmas 2025 with my mom!
Pros:

I loved the location and the aesthetic of the property!

Cons:

I didn’t like how the property did not have a microwave in the common areas but the staff was kind enough to locate one and bring it to the lobby for all to use!
