Hotel zum Loewen

The photos indicate a bar but it's not open.
Ad and website indicate a restaurant but there isn't one.

Issues: 1. Check in times are set. Nobody at the facility before check in time. I got lucky and the owner popped by early. The door was locked. I was exhausted. He let me in and gave me a room even though I was early. So grateful.; 2. It’s not that close to the airport by transit. 35 minutes and only accessible by bus.
The facility is spotless; friendly staff; great breakfast and good value; quiet like a small town and safe; a few shops about a 10 minute walk away…bakery, ice cream, Turkish food and a place to buy water and other beverages. There is even a butcher shop kitty corner to the hotel. The hotel has a pool and sauna which so didn’t use since I was too tired but it’s a nice feature. If you spend a few days you can take advantage of a gym nearby as well. If you want a peaceful stay I would recommend this. If you want to run around Frankfurt or neighbouring cities stay near a U Bahn or S Bahn.

Idyllisch und ruhig im Süden von Frankfurt gelegen im Ort Walldorf. Mit guten Verbindungen per S-Bahn, RE in die City. Hotel bietet einen kleinen Pool. Zimmer eher älter, aber zweckmässig, sauber und genügend gross. Leider ohne Klimaanlage. Leider war mein Zimmer auch oberhalb eines Raucher-Hotspots, womit bei offenem Fenster entsprechender Geruch feststellbar war. Frühstück eher klein, jedoch inklusive. Genügend Parkplätze vorhanden, obschon ich per Zug nach Walldorf kam.

Stayed for two nights. Great place to stay at. Awesome breakfast and facilities. I would stay here again.

Ich habe extra erwähnt dass ich erst um 02 Uhr nacht ankommen .... Beim reservieren .. und ich kamm an keiner .. ich hab im Flughafen geschlafen ...

Sehr gemütlich und schön ruhig

Leider konnte ich nicht verreisen und habe Wochen vor dem Termin die Buchung beim Hotel Löwen per Mail storniert. Da ich keine Antwort erhielt wiederholte ich eine Woche später meinen Wunsch auf Storno als Erinnerung. Sehr überrascht war ich heute als meine Bank die Buchung (Visa) bestätigte! Als ich das Hotel telefonisch kontaktierte hat mich ein höflicher Rezeptionist gesagt, dass er mir eine Antwortmail geschrieben hätte mit dem Hinweis, dass ich auf Expedia stornieren sollte. Da ich die genannte Mail nie erhalten habe, kann ich nicht diese Aussage bestätigen. Und das Hotel kann ich nicht bewerten.

Everything about my stay was great from the greeting I got when I came in the door (thank you, Alex) to the room, pool and breakfast. I would absolutely stay again. It's also about 2 blocks from the airport bus stop.

One night stay on business. Staff weee very friendly and efficient. Nicely located and convenient for the airport.
