Lovely hotel, room was so nice with an amazing view! Bed was so comfy. Breakfast was really good with plenty options. Was in perfect location for walking down to the main street.
The food was exceptional, the staff very attentive and friendly our garden room with patio was lovely. Great hotel would go back
Although we loved the garden room it was a little smaller than we were used to with a small but functional bathroom. This didn’t in any way spoil our time there
Excellent central location, we walked everywhere. Excellent breakfast and a pretty good evening meal. Friendly staff and a brilliant room. Hotel appeared full and that says something about it. A number of people were regular customers
Shower bath was a bit narrow. My wife had some difficulty in getting in and out. standing in the shower was on a curved surface. Personally, I thought this may create a slip hazard. My background was as an HSEQ auditor and teacher. However, the shower itself was brilliant and I wouldn't mark the hotel down just for this.
Staff was excellent, the restaurant on site was very pleasant and served great food (we only had the breakfast).
Conveniently located to the downtown area, and the building is beautiful. Our room was relatively small, but very well-appointed and the balcony was such a treat! Also, we loved the little stuffed owl they leave in the room to be used instead of "do not disturb" door hanger. Just adorable!

There was no provision in the room bathroom to store toiletries so they had to remain in our toilet bags on the floor. A simple shelf would have been sufficient

It was a lovely hotel we had a garden room with private sitting area outside. We got a very good deal for the room so was well worth the money and would stay again.
The only thing that could be slightly better was the breakfast it was nice but slightly falling below expectations.

Stairs down to Garden Room , you’re also open to the weather from there to main hotel, however they do provide umbrellas outside your bedroom door.
