Spotlessly clean, fabulous food and exceptional staff
Room 8 is above where the staff have their breaks and unfortunately cigarette smoke makes it way into the room

This is a hotel with a difference to say the least.
The location is perfect and only a short stroll to the beautiful town of Pitlochry.
The hotel itself is beautiful inside and out with original features throughout. Everywhere is immaculately kept and the ambiance is simply perfect.
You are treated like a VIP here and we felt as if we were being welcomed into someone's beautiful home.
The dining experience at breakfast and dinner is superior in that it is table service only, no buffet, and we felt utterly spoiled by the experience.
The food was nothing short of deliciously perfect in presentation and taste.
There is no bar here, you are served drinks in the sitting room by lovely, friendly and very professional staff who clearly take a pride in their work.
Our room was on the top floor with fabulous views from two windows. It was perhaps the smallest room, however this made it even more cosy and adorable (the room with the wallpaper of books) The little owl on the bed was so cute and a lovely alternative to the usual 'do not disturb' sign.
This was our first time here and we found it by chance while searching for somewhere to stay for a romantic two night break.
We look forward to returning in the near future, and would highly recommend coming here, you will not be disappointed if you enjoy a touch of class and tranquillity rolled into one..

Lovely hotel and just a short walk into the Main Street of Pitlochry. We had one of the garden rooms and having our own little patio was fab! Room had everything we needed, bed was really comfortable. Excellent dinner and great choices for breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend.
We couldn’t quite get the heating temperature right but we just opened the windows to cool the room down. Also, a smaller shower head would be better as the one fitted the spray soaked the floor.

We found the whole experience delightful. Our downstairs suite was large, well equipped and comfortable and we could more or less park outside the door. Staff were all helpful and most pleasant. It was a little quiet as it was the early part of the season. The icing on the cake was literally the cooking - how a small hotel can offer a completely different menu every night is amazing. Our stay was sandwiched in between two Michelin starred establishments and the standard of cooking was equal to if not better than both, and I must add, a lot less expensive.We hope to come again in the autumn/winter and will recommend it to our friends

As always 1000% fantastic trip to the hotel. The food is some of the best I have had and is consistently at the highest of standards. And the service within the hotel is second to none. Every room I have stayed in has been lovely. A fantastic feeling to the whole hotel and one I will come to many times.

Extremely comfortable and clean accommodation, excellent dining and breakfast choices which are executed to perfection, and friendly yet professional staff. Everything you could want and more from an overnight stay, in a pretty location.
I have stayed at this hotel previously and the top quality received is consistently delivered. Absolutely 10/10.

Hotel was absolutely beautiful, in a gorgeous setting and fabulous location with a lovely walk into town and down to the beautiful sites. The food was amazing and the bedroom very comfortable. We were upgraded so we had a gorgeous large bedroom.
Sittings before meals works a little strangely as you all wait in a beautiful lounge where the seating can get a little awkward when you don't know the people sitting on the couch in front of you or next to you but its all gorgeous nonetheless.
Beautiful and comfortable Hotel. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Great stay will be back next week.
The only thing we would prefer is a free standing shower, however would not put us off staying again.
