Location. Parking. dogs aloud. Very nice club/bar.
Nice room on the top floor (getting too old to climb all the stairs) No breakfast available until Friday. Seaview obstructed by large tree.
The property was simple and cosy. Free tea and coffee in reception that you can use, plus the appliances in the room too. Bed were very comfy and pillows weren’t like paper, they genuinely were plump and comfy. Room is very clean, I only booked a standard room for work purposes.
The shower is abit small and the pressure of the shower wasn’t the greatest, pressure was weak. But very clean and water temp was great.
Very friendly hosts and staff. Excellent location, close to the town. Free parking. Lovely room with sea view and big comfortable bed. Shower was good, tea and coffee making facilities plus a small fridge.
The breakfast was excellent, bacon in particular.
Dog friendly.

I thought the breakfast, pool and the fact there is music on weekends was really good. Also, a mini fridge in the room

Friendly, greeting when we arrived despite the hotel suffering an unplanned electricity cut and refuse vehicle knocking down part of the hotel wall and blocking the access road.
The Pub downstairs in the hotel was really great.
Bed was really comfortable and we had a corner room with two windows. This was really handy given the very hot weather and we were able to get a bit of a breeze
I don't think there was anything I "didn't like". It was an older building and whilst I might normally have chosen something more contemporary it had lots of character. Parking could be a little tight but the hotel had done a good job with the available space. We were so close to town that we didn't use the car between arriving and leaving
Excellent value for money, just came home today after spending a six night stay, room was small as described but very cosy, bed really comfortable, bathroom lovely, had everything we needed. location superb, with close bus service if wanting to explore a little further, we caught the bus to babbaccon beach it was lovely, once you get there take the lift down to the beach the views are amazing. Staff really friendly, lovely bar area and were given vouchers for free glass of Prosecco and other discounts.
There was nothing we disliked
We actually had the room above which was nice and spacious and well furnished. We had a mini fridge and kettle in the room
The bathroom was modern and clean.
Some areas are dated but it didn’t detract from enjoying our stay. It gave the hotel a more comfortable feeling.

The hotel was on a rather steep hill , so took a while to get there, not ideal for unfit walkers ! Take a car is a safe bet , otherwise it was clean and nice .
Very well situated for a short walk into the centre of Torquay, friendly staff and live music at the hotel over the weekend we were there.
Would have benefitted from air conditioning as weather was hot while staying at the hotel.

The host was brilliant and our room too as we got an upgrade - thank you. Also, the location is great, parking was easily accessible and overall great value for money. There is also a pub downstairs that's really nice to have a drink in too.
Everything was really good
Location just a short walk to town centre. Place had its own bar and swimming pool. Bar was great with free pool and darts. Drinks were very reasonable and live bands in the afternoon.
Room was very nice. Decor could do with updating but still overall very pleasant room to stay in.
Die Lage und die Mitarbeitenden waren super! Auch unsere beiden Hunde waren gerne überall gesehen, auch beim Frühstück, was sehr gut war (Frühstücksbüffet und auf Bestellung)!
