Lots of potential. Beautiful grounds and building. Insect problem , poor Wi-Fi,

Location is beautiful. Amazing views. Great for dogs and walks. Staff are very friendly apart from the owner. Darren and Zoe are lovely and work very hard.

Cons:

Overpriced. Poor Wi-Fi. Owner is not friendly and treats his staff poorly. He doesn’t like dogs. Outside needs attention and tidying. They have an infestation of ladybirds breeding and laying eggs in the woodwork of the bedroom windows. All the guests complained but they are in denial. One girl had to go to hospital due to eggs in her head and hair. She had been living there for months.

Pros:

The bathroom, the bed was comfy , clean towels and bed linen

Cons:

On arrival we were told they were doing alterations so ok . But our room smelt of cigarettes, and it's like it was in the carpet because I couldn't get rid of it by spraying my perfume 🙁, no mirror in the room, but one in bathroom, nowhere to hang clothes .

The property was ok

Cons:

Two members of staff were very pushy and kept banging my door late at night when I was trying to get my boy to sleep and being very pushy I felt very volnerable and unsafe being on my own with a little one

Lovely stay in a beautiful location.
Pros:

Beautiful property in a lovely location, I was staying for a wedding and it was so convenient. The people working there were so friendly and welcoming and the room was really well presented.

Pros:

The place was great, the staff where amazing, really helpful, great grounds, been able to have pets was great, would definitely stay again, and will next year. Big thanks to the care takers couldn't have made or stay any easier

Nice 2 night stsy
Pros:

Had a lovely stsy ,staff on check in friendly and helpful .its a lovely old building .Do not be put off by the negative reviews ,it was clean ,warm and a comfy bed (room 4)

It was a bed for the night

Cons:

Road in was like a motocross track, room was nothing like pictures, pictures had a bar, no bar on site, windows let in so much cold it was freezing.
Shower was tiny and hairs from previous guests
