Een geweldige ervaring op zo'n schip, uitstekend personeel en niet te vergeten de vrijwilligers!
Pros:

Bij deze ons review over ons bezoek donderdag en vrijdag aan de SS Rotterdam.

Wij kwamen in eerste instantie voor een bezoek aan Katendrecht en Fenix. Maar het bezoek aan het schip, de overnachting en de rondleidingen spanden uiteindelijk de kroon! Al het personeel was uitermate vriendelijk en behulpzaam

Wat een geweldige ervaring om door het schip te kunnen banjeren en te genieten van alle zalen, lounges en de kunst aan boord. Je kijkt je ogen uit. Wat een grandeur en wat moet dat een fascinerende ervaring geweest zijn voor de passagiers uit die tijd.

Petje af ook voor alle vrijwilligers die bij beide rondleidingen alle tijd hadden om ons van alles te vertellen over het schip en hun ervaringen. We hebben er 3 uur lang van genoten....

Ook onze executive kamer, met de licht hellende vloer, was heel scheeps met een mooi uitzicht op de boeg.

Al met al een aanrader en we geven zeker 5 sterren!

Ontvangst en diner algemene indruk van het schip

Cons:

Tegenvaller dat de vloerbedekking van de kamer zo slecht is , slijtage en opbollend tapijt .
de kosten van 1 nacht zijn ca € 140.00 en dan verwacht je een betere kamer .
Lido restaurant is mooi en eten is goed maar een wachttijd van meer dan 3 kwartier is wel erg lang !!

Those 60ies maritime grandeur vibes on this ship are incomparable. I loved the whole experience. A highlight was the ships tour with a bunch of very sweet and capable elderly people.

Overnachten op een bijzondere plek
Pros:

Een overnachting op het SS Rotterdam is een leuke ervaring. Bijzonder om op een plek met zoveel historie te overnachten én om via een audiotour de bovenste dekken van het schip te ontdekken. We hadden een superior room. Comfortabele en ruime kamer met koffie- en theefaciliteiten. Goede bedden. En het was genieten van een uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet.
