We enjoyed our stay, our room was very clean and staff was very friendly.

Very convenient for event in town. Clean, needs a little updating but overall nice place. Would stay there again.

The place was dirty. The hallway was dark I had to use my phone flashlight to put key in the door. Also no light in bathroom where toilet and shower was. There was people in parking lot having a little party (loud). And the advertisement said continental breakfast but No breakfast just coffee.

We just needed a night to stay but very friendly staff, very accommodating and felt safe.

Don’t let the small hotel fool you. My room had been updated. The front desk was amazing and helpful. My stay was reasonable and comfortable…

The price was great. However, the room was way below standards. American Inn has a great reputation and how this motel made the cut to be an American Inn is beyond me. Bathtub and toilet area is dated and has repair patch that was not done properly. The room actually smelled and I bought air freshener to spray in the air conditioner and room which did help. The entry door is way too complicated and I had to have assistance to figure out how it worked. Put card in, pull it out, pull knob twice to get door open. The "amenities" in the bathroom were in a red plastic dish used by some fast food restaurants. One shampoo and three conditioners. I don't get to Boone that often but will try very hard to NOT have to stay there again. Bed was fine, restaurant attached was Mexican (being from Arizona, I didn't bother to eat there). I didn't use the internet. Parking was good with easy access to the highway and downtown area.

Quiet place

Overall it was a nice stay but there wasn't enough towels for the number of guests. Pool hours; needs to open earlier in the morning.

It was clean and the A/C worked. Pool was closed on hottest days of June. Sign said "Closed for the winter", which tells me they weren't ambitious enough to get it ready by the middle of June. No breakfast, just coffee and juice. I had to turn on the coffee in our second day there. Nice people running the place, but just doing what they have to at this time.

The hotel was quite expensive for how old and dingy it was and the smell matched. The smell made me nauseous. No breakfast and pool was closed. Would not recommend.

When you turrn on the bathroom light it flickers until it comes on shutting the bathroom door is hard to shut housekeeping comes by every other day the heater did not work the tv was dark to watch shows and when the housekeepers came by early you ask them to come back later but would not do it

Website states that the front desk is open 24/7, lobby door locks at 9:00 PM.

Went to shower in the morning and the light in the shower room did not work. Turned on the shower and the shower stream was abysmal. Less than a garden hose stream. It wasn't strong enough to even wash the cleanser off of my face. When I told the front desk at check out the only response I got was that the room was used the prior day and everything was "just fine" as if I was lying about it, or had something to do with it.

Don't waste your money, find somewhere else to stay. I tried to add pictures but the app wouldn't allow them to be added.
