The PuLi Shanghai

Fantastic experience, our stay at The Puli. Having the continued support of the concierge William and its team is a privilege wish makes us feel at home. Definitely the best option for a comfortable stay in Shanghai.

The PuLi is one of our favorite stays ever. Beautifully understated elegance in a prime location. The concierge staff was great and William Hu set up amazing tours and dinners for us. We hope to return to Shanhai and, if we do, we will definitely choose the PuLi again.

It was an amazing hotel for business breakfast leisure concierge service was fantastic we were able to feel my local in Shanghai. Best restaurants, excellent shopping and nice bars. We didn’t waste any time.

We were extremely impressed with the service at The Puli. Mike, the manager, responded to my email swiftly, helped us shape our plans, and even arranged for someone to assist us with navigating the metro and finding a mahjong venue. Celine was also consistently charming and helpful.

Quite simply, it was the best service I have ever received in an upmarket hotel — and I have stayed in many over the years.

The hotel was beautiful, amazing location, great bar and the service was excellent. The concierge William was most helpful and made some great recommendations, you can absolutely count on him. Nice sound system in the room and the spa is a real highlight.

My wife booked a birthday staycation at The Puli and it was excellent.Camille the Guest Experience Manger and Cici the receptionist were warm, attentive and genuinely thoughtful, They upgraded us to a room overlooking Jing’An Temple, which made the stay even more special.The hotel has a real sense of calm the moment you walk in, despite being in central Shanghai. We’ve stayed several times over the past six years and it remains our favourite city escape. I would highly recommend.

Always a great stay at the Puli. As my parents were visiting Shanghai, William personally went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. From immediately meeting us anytime he saw us arrive or leave, to helping book and recommend restaurants, excursions, etc. The service felt very personal.

Fantastic hotel. Great rooms, bar and food. Amazing Spa and pool. Service is excellent (Mike the concierge is outstanding and nothing is too much trouble). This was my 5th visit and it is my go to place in Shanghai.

The PuLi exceeded expectations. As a family of 4 it was our first time in Shanghai and we took our time to choose our hotel. We were very glad we booked the PuLi over other luxury options. Firstly even before our arrival Mike the concierge was extremely helpful in helping us book restaurants, arrange transportation and excursions. Both he and William were extremely helpful throughout our stay and deserve mention. We booked the grand suite which comfortably accommodated us and ensured some privacy for all. The room perks were also great. Our check in was arranged in room by Sophie who also deserves mention for her attentiveness and care. The hotel is stylish and has a great atmosphere. We prefer a modern design hotel and this delivered. The location is great and much better than staying in pudong. We really loved everything about it and found it to be a great platform for exploring Shanghai. We would definitely return.

The Puli Hotel and Spa is a wonderful property with a distinctive style. I really love the hotel’s design—it feels luxurious, elegant, and very peaceful, even though it is located in a lively area. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing, truly an oasis in the city.

The location is excellent, with convenient transportation and easy access to many places. Special thanks to Amy and Vinson for their excellent service; they were professional, attentive, and made the stay even more enjoyable.
