Pros:

Staff absolutely lovely place lovely

Cons:

Unfortunately handle on window fell of rotton mould damp smell mould absolutely freeze food far to over priced fish chips 17 pound think ten chips shower floor ready collapse roof shower ready fall in I won't recommend again don't know how got awards for rooms sheets dirty I stripped beds was annoyed

Best Sunday roast I've had in a long time
Pros:

OMG I have just had my dinner at Uplawmoor hotel & I can say I've not tasted a Sunday Roast like this best I've had in a long time, absolutely loved it, it was delicious 😋 the hotel is a lovely rustic atmosphere & the staff were very attentive & friendly.

Staff need better treatment

APPALLING!!😡😡😡
I am disappointed and disgraced at this hotel!
The treatment the staff get from the kitchen staff is beyond awful!!
I witnessed yelling from kitchen staff . To one of the young girls from front of house. To the point of upset.
I wouldn’t tolerate this at all!
This is going to reduce customers. Makes me sick to see that nothing is happening about this. Lack of kitchen staff or not.
RESPECT AND KINDNESS IS KEY FOR HEALTHY WORK ENVIRONMENT!!

Nice wee hotel, suited our needs. Staff very pleasant.

No shower screen,toilet made a lot of noise for a while after flushing ,bathroom fan was the same ,so could really use if we got up in middle of the night

Total dissapointment would not recommend to anyone
Pros:

Very little apart from location!

Cons:

Room’s not clean, towels not replaced. Rooms left open during our stay by staff. Breakfast not served till after10 am. Breakfast poor.two days there were no sausages. One day it was cold .there were few options for breakfast. The guests wrote a detailed letter to the management pointing out their complaints and have received no reply.

We had an excellent stay. Outstanding value for money!
Pros:

We contacted the hotel 2 days before our stay to see if we could collect a room key as we would be arriving before the check in time to go to a wedding. Staff were extremely helpful and let us check in a full 2 hours early.
Room was very clean, bed was comfortable.
Breakfast was excellent!
Staff were great!

Great hotel with character
Pros:

Excellent stay during the coldest night of the year, as it's a very old hotel with charming features, they do really well to make your stay enjoyable. Food was outstanding and the service from Martin & Co was warming and homely. Definitely be back real soon, hopefully not during minus 4 conditions.

Cons:

Absolutely nothing.

Pros:

Comfortable, clean and with very convenient parking. Staff were very kind. Food at the restaurant was truly excellent.

Cons:

Not a criticism but it would have been nice to have EV charging at the property.
