The whole place was spotless and all of the staff were friendly and welcoming. There was a wide choice of food and drinks on offer for dinner and the food was fantastic, as was the breakfast, which was freshly cooked.
I would like to extend a great thanks to the Hafod hotel. Close proximity to attractions, bedroom was lovely, cosy and warm, staff were absolutely impeccable I could not remember names but you all were very hospitable and love your job dearly and did a great service for any request we needed… I even left my bag and they kept it safe. Would come again.
Parking exactly outside the Hotel wasnt easy but there was a nearby overflow Car Park. Room was really nice, staff were exceptionally helpful and yhe food really nice. Bed was so comfortable and really enjoyed our stay here!
Staff very helpful, we were able to park nearby as the car park was a short walk away.
Service excellent, food very good, great atmosphere. Would definitely stay again.
Tranquil relaxing perfect stay lovely staff excellent food
This was our most favourite hotel of our 2 week UK trip! From the amazing service at check-in, through dinners, breakfasts and room servicing (fresh towels, tea and Welsh Cakes), we felt so very taken care of here.
If I could give 10 stars I would!
The hotel was beautiful, the atmosphere was so relaxing, and the location is perfect!
We really enjoyed the #TAKEMEWITHEWE sheep. We have posted pictures on social media and I hope people enjoy them as much as we enjoyed participating in this fun activity.
Thank you to evryone at the Hafod Arms! We will definitely be back! And hopefully for longer!
We stayed for one night, lovely hotel and surroundings and staff friendly. My only negative was that I informed staff that our room did not have a remote control and they said they did not have a replacement so we could not watch tv. I later overheard in the restaurant another guest talking with staff about their tv not working and they got this replaced straight away. They seemed to know the staff member so maybe this was why they were treated differently.
Got back late, poorly lit to see. A lift needed as I struggled with the lift.had and issue but the manager sorted it out. In the end was happy.
But lovely place
Having the waterfall just outside the hotel was beautiful! You cant see it, but you can hear it and its amazing.
The only thing that let down this hotel was the hot water. They had been having problems with the water for a few days, and we werent told on arrival. So after being on the road all day we didnt get to have a hot shower. This was an ongoing problem the time we were there.
We made a fairly last-minute booking to stay at the Hafod Hotel. The reviews were generally good, and we were looking forward to finding out for ourselves.
The location is perfectly placed next to Devil’s Bridge. We had a valley-view king room, which had a beautiful view both day and night. There’s loads of parking; however, there is a short walk from there to the hotel.
The room is high quality and includes everything you need for a comfortable stay.
We booked on a bed, breakfast, and dinner basis, and we weren’t disappointed. There are plenty of options for the meals and the food was very tasty.
The staff are friendly and well-turned out. A special mention for Charlotte, who looked after us in the evening; nothing was too much trouble, and she was charming and humorous.
We’d highly recommend the hotel, and we will definitely be back.
What a beautiful hotel in a picturesque part of Wales. The room was gorgeous and overlooked the waterfalls in the distance. Food lovely and friendly staff.
Lovely refurbished rooms in an old historic building. Good evening meal. Breakfast a bit pricy at £20 each.
A great setting with lovely views, an outside seating area and bijou interior. Most of the rooms looked lovely but we picked the wrong one - up on the 2nd floor with 2 very small single beds and a window which didn’t open on a hot night. Also - we were surprised to find that the parking was 200 yards up a hill in an isolated field, which should be made clear before booking.
Enjoyed our stay at this hotel which we chose for the location. Room very pleasant, comfortable bed, clean bathroom and good shower. Enjoyed our evening meal at the hotel. Breakfast choices excellent but food could have been warmer.
Friendly Welsh speaking young woman serving in the restaurant. Very efficient and great service. Thank you.
A fantastic hotel in a stunning location. The rooms were modern with ye-oldie charm. The food was delicious.
The bar closed early and the road a bit noisy, but this was ok after my night nurse and vodka! Get the train to Aberystwyth if you really must go there.
Very nice hotel right by Devils Bridge. Very friendly staff, good food options and comfortable rooms. Lots of parking space, although it is 100yds up the road.
Hotel was very nice
Rooms good
Fresh towels and products every day
Area with the waterfall was so nice and the steam train was fun too
Food for us was not great
Staff was not sure or didn’t know about items on the menu
